Only if the family member owns the house, you have no rights to ownership of the home and you are over the age of 18. If your parents own it, then they can go pound sand.

Nope, under the law you have rights if you have been residing there for a period of time. You'll have to look up the local law for that specific criteria of time. You could also claim squatting rights. Besides, I think everywhere you'll have to be given a 30 day notice before you're evicted.

if you are 18 or older, they can evict you. they will have to go through the courts, same as a tennant. time frame- not less than 60 days, up to 90 days.
