It is hot and sunny today. Today is april 11th. I went fishing in the ocean today. I caught a very big fish and so did my brother. We ate the fishes for dinner. I also went on the subway in boston today. It took me to the hospital for my brothers doctor appointment.
this is my spanish translation
Hace calor y hoy soleado. Hoy es 11 de abril. Fui de pesca en el océano hoy. Agarré un pez muy grande y tan hice a mi hermano. Comimos los peces para cenar. Pasé también el metro en Boston hoy. Les me tomó al hospital por mi cita de doctor de hermanos.

I ask this because I've gotten some odd reactions to the fact that I'm contributing my time and labor (and roses, when they are in bloom) for Hindu pujas and talks. The person who hosts these events (at his home, and at his own expense) feeds from 15 to over 40 people every Sunday. I'm cooking with him once a month as my contribution; he asks nothing of anyone, and will feed anyone who comes to his door.

Would you ever give your time/labor/money/gifts to a religious group other than your own religion? If so, which ones? If not, why not?

Since 2002, I've had someone claiming my daughter as their dependant illegally. I have a feeling it's her father forging my name on a Form 8332. Her father lost all rights to her due to child abuse and isn't even allowed to have supervised visits with her. Every year my e-file gets rejected because of her ss# being already claimed and I'm forced to mail in my taxes which caused my refund to get delayed by 3 weeks. I wrote the IRS in 2003 and in 2006 asking them to do something about it but it's still happening. I'm a single mother and can't afford a lawyer. How can I get the IRS to do something? Is their a form I can submit that would force them to investigate?

Our Jasamine tree is dyinging we think. We just got it Two weeks ago. We live in So. California. It is on our balcony which gets only AM sunlight. For the first week that we had it, it did not get barely any sun due to the Marine Layers in the morning. We have been watering it every other day, is that to much? Should we move it into a bigger pot? It is in the same pot that we got from the nursery. There are no new blooms on it anymore. Does it dye then come back? The leaves are curling up too. It has not gotten any bigger. Please help we do not want it to dye, plus we paid $35 for it and we do not want to be throwing out money. Thanks

Did you know that the magicians Penn and Teller don't believe in the Bible?

How stupid could they be? I guess we'll have to lump them in with the rest of the idiots like Richard Dawkins and Carl Sagan.

I was on youtube and I saw them making fun of the Bible. I couldn't believe it. I never saw anything so disrespectful in my whole life.

Why do people attack Christianity like that? Why do they distort the truth? Sure, Christianity has been used to do bad stuff in the past, but that is only because people can be bad. It's NOT the religion that's bad, it's the SOME of the people who follow it.

Religion does not kill people, people kill people.

I am a guy who has a female friend who is a coworker. I became friends with her over the past two years or so. I felt like I could talk to her about things. She has a strong personality and has gone through a lot of hardships in life. Over the past month or so, I noticed a change in her attitude toward me. She started to put me down and call me names. I asked her why she was doing that and she said that I was being annoying. I do have some personality traits that are kind of weird, but she has become mean to me when she wasn't like that before. Everytime I would say something to her, she would snap back at me with criticism, usually in a group setting. She was a lot nicer to me when she talked to me alone, but she is hurting my feelings. Why would her demeanor toward me just change like that?

I understand that science is very interesting
but what's interesting about memorizing chemical reactions and all the detailed parts of the cell and stuff?

How do you deal with all the boring stuff in science?

Learning science in a general way is very interesting, i know, but not the in depth part! Or am I wrong?

I still want to learn science because it will allow me to have the job that I want in the future. But I can't bring myself to study the boring part. How do I do it?

Someone correct my way of thinking please!
