Luke 2:52 talks about Jesus growing up by saying: "And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man".
That would seem to indicate that he grow like a "normal child", he had to learn to walk, talk, read, write, etc. He had the natural curiosity of any child. And as he learned, he had to make the same moral and social choices that any child would make. (Just he always made the correct moral choice, unlike other children). By the age of 12 (which was the "age of adulthood for males) he had grown to where he was able to debate (and confound) adults. But the Bible says he "grow" into that wisdom.

The Bible does teach that Jesus was 100% Man as well as 100% human. So, as a three year old, he was just as any other three year old, needing to be taught many things. I am sure as a 100% human toddler, his mother and earthly father Joseph explained the fact that He was diety. I am certain that Jesus, as He grew, understood more and more of what they meant because He was 100% God. We must remember that just as Jesus was human and God, we, too, are both human and spiritual.
I believe that as far as His memory being infinite, He would probably remember more as His brain developed. All of this is very confusing to the human mind. We will understand it all one day.

I've searched for the Bible verse that says Jesus was 100% God and 100% human, and have not found it.
But the Bible indicates that Jesus had a normal growth. After Jesus' birth, Luke tells us that "the child grew and became strong; he was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon him." (Luke 2:40 NIV)
Jesus is not visited again until he was 12 years old, at which point Luke writes, "And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men." (Luke 2:52 NIV)
So it appears that his mind grew normally and progressively in wisdom over the years, until it was God's will to call him to the task for which he was born.

I think He was completely human, experiencing all the human experiences that you and I have had. If He somehow was "super"-human with some sort of infinite memory, then He would not have been like you or me.
The one thing that He has so much more of, that I work on everyday, is faith. He had faith in His Father, even till death on a cross.
And I know, it is faith that saves, not works. Just like for Jesus, faith is paramount, worth more than gold. Jesus' faith overcame death, His love saves us all, and He therefore gave us all hope.
Through His faith He could have called 10,000 angels to His aid and smote His enemies...but He endured the suffering to keep the will of His Father...He was patient, longsuffering, and loving.
And who am I to be so honored to be made in His image? Well, it's not about me...it's all about Christ, and what He did for me.

That is a question we may never know this side of Heaven. I want to think he had the mind of a 3 year old so that he could have the full human experience but only he knows for sure.
May the Lord richly bless you.

I think Jesus amazed and shocked His mother Mary every day that He lived with His every being.

I think it would be unimaginably frustrating to be a god stuck in the clumsy, helpless body of a toddler.
I'm just sayin'.
