Our Jasamine tree is dyinging we think. We just got it Two weeks ago. We live in So. California. It is on our balcony which gets only AM sunlight. For the first week that we had it, it did not get barely any sun due to the Marine Layers in the morning. We have been watering it every other day, is that to much? Should we move it into a bigger pot? It is in the same pot that we got from the nursery. There are no new blooms on it anymore. Does it dye then come back? The leaves are curling up too. It has not gotten any bigger. Please help we do not want it to dye, plus we paid $35 for it and we do not want to be throwing out money. Thanks

My husband's a whiz with our jasmine tree here in the north bay. He said you're watering it fine, but it definitely needs to be transplanted. The roots are probably too crowded and dying off. Just make sure the bigger pot has good drainage. And he said keep it in a spot with the most direct sun it can possibly get.

My aunt here had jasmine that grew all over the side of her house, and that only got AM sun and she never ever watered it, just went with the weather. But if it's in a pot on a balcony, your watering schedule is fine.
