My friend said you must go Saturdays and NOT SUNDAYS to go to Heaven. She gave me the below script in writing. What do I say? By the way, she is 7 day adventist.

"Sunday is a Catholic institution.... From beginning to end of
Scripture there is not a single passage that warrants the transfer of weekly
public worship from the last day of the week to the first." Catholic
Press, August 1900
"For, since we [Catholics] deny that the Bible is the sole truth, we
can fall back upon the constant practice and tradition of the Church."
Francis Lentz, Catholic priest, 1900
"If Protestants would follow the Bible, they should worship God on the
Sabbath day. In keeping Sunday they are following a law of the Catholic
Church." Albert Smith, Chancellor of the Archdiocese of Baltimore, 1920
Even the Protestants themselves admit that Sunday observance is not
biblical:
"There was never any formal or authoritative change from the Jewish
[sic] seventh day Sabbath to the Christian first day observance.... The
[Gentiles] brought over the consciousness of various observances in the
pagan religions, preeminently the worship of the sun - a sort of Sunday
consciousness." W. Carver, professor at Southern Baptist Theological
Seminary, Louisville, Kentucky, 1940

Can a female get pregnant if she bathes with a male(nothing kinky occurs, not even touching) but he ejaculates

As he ejaculates, the warm bath water keeps the sperm alive and as they bath, their movement causes the sperm to disperse thruout the bathtub. It only takes *one* sperm to impregnant her.
He never mated her nor even touched her, all they did was share the same bath(weird I know but some couples prefer that)

I have a Singer Quantum XL-6000, and I am looking to get a 4mm to 6mm hemmer foot. I was wondering since my machine is a snap on foot if I could use a Husqvarna snap on hemmer foot or any snap on foot for the machine. I cannot find what I am looking for in stores or at Singer's website. I am wondering if it isn't possible to use another machine foot, if there are any good online stores.

There entry level trim sucks, only gets 140 horse power, while for only $790 more you can get the scion tC entry level has 160 horse power, has more standard features than the civic plus looks a heck of alot better. The only advantage i see that the civic having is MPG which is only 7 MPG more than the scion, for only 7 MPG less i would much rather have 160 horse power belive it or not it makes a difference. PLUS scion is made by Toyota which has the best resale value and the most reliable company out there.

I am looking for another battery for my Panasonic DMC-TZ1. and I have been looking on eBay for one. A lot of people are selling them, and at low prices too. But a lot of people are selling ones that are labelled "1300mAh" and some are at "1000mAh"

The battery that came with my camera is 1000mAh. SO is a 1300mAh battery safe to use with my camera??

Thanks

I don't understand how this (practice, following, religion? whatever you call it) works. For example my friend is a Gemini just like me. That means we both have the same horoscope every day. So whenever he finds love, I find love. He gets a promotion, I get a promotion. He takes a loss, I take a losss. Not only do him and I share the same forecasts, but 10s of millions of Geminis across the world as well are subject to the same "destinys" on the same day. That seems a bit far-fetched to me. It also seems a bit ridiculous for the guy who made up astrology to categorize billions of people into 12 sets. So there are only 12 different kinds of people in the world? It seems to be the mindset anyway, when I read people asking questions here like "Does anyone here hate snobby Libras?". To me, the mindset that follows almost breeds a sub-type of racism where people are labeled and stereotyped. I apologize if my question lacks education on this subject. Does anyone else see this?

And Why?

2007-04-14 05:05:54 · 13 answers · asked by Anonymous in Polls & Surveys

Did God create everything that exists? Does evil exist? Did God
create evil?

A University professor at a well known institution of higher learning
challenged his students with this question. "Did God create
everything that exists?"

A student bravely replied, "Yes he did!"

"God created everything?" The professor asked.

"Yes sir, he certainly did," the student replied.

The professor answered, "If God created everything; then God created
evil.
And, since evil exists, & according to the principle that our works
define
who we are, then we can assume God is evil."

The student became quiet & did not respond to the professor's
hypothetical
definition. The professor, quite pleased with himself, boasted to the
students that he had proven once more that the religious faith was a
myth.

Another student raised his hand & said, "May I ask you a question,
professor?"

"Of course," replied the professor.

The student stood up and asked, "Professor, does cold exist?"

"What kind of question is this? Of course it exists. Have you never
been cold?"

The other students snickered at the young man's question. The young man
replied, "In fact sir, cold does not exist. According to the laws of
physics, what we consider cold is in reality the absence of heat.
Everybody or object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits
energy,
& heat is what makes a body or matter have or transmit energy.
Absolute zero (-460F) is the total absence of heat; & all matter
becomes inert
& incapable of reaction at that temperature. Cold does not exist.
We have
created this word to describe how we feel if we have no heat."

The student continued, "Professor, does darkness exist?"

The professor responded, "Of course it does."

The student replied , "Once again you are wrong, darkness does not exist
either. Darkness is in reality the absence of light. Light we can
study,
but not darkness. In fact, we can use Newton 's prism to break white
light
into many colors & study the various wave lengths of each color. You
cannot measure darkness. A simple ray of light can break into a
world of
darkness & illuminate it. How can you know how dark a certain space
is?
You measure the amount of light present. Isn't this correct?
Darkness is a term used by man to describe what happens when there is
no light present."

Finally the young man asked the professor, "Sir, does evil exist?"

Now uncertain, the professor responded, "Of course, as I have
already said.
We see it everyday. It is in the daily examples of man's inhumanity to
man. It is in the multitude of crime & violence everywhere in the
world.
These manifestations are nothing else but evil.

To this the student replied, "Evil does not exist, sir, or at least
it does
not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is
just like
darkness & cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence
of God.

God did not create evil. Evil is the result of what happens when man
does
not have God's love present in his heart. It's like the cold that
comes
when there is no heat, or the darkness
that comes when there is no light."

The professor sat down.
