I have watched this movie more than five times, but I still dont get it, I dont understand the ending, What kind of sickness does she have? Where does she go in the end? thanks for answering

She was dying of cancer. She left to be with her family in her final days.

that is such a sad movie but good. yes she was dying of cancer and didn't want to live in the hospital so she lived her life making peoples better. At the very end she decided to go see her family till she died.

Its a terrible ending. When you are in a love relationship, it's cruel in the extreme to not allow your lover to help you and be with you through to the end. The ending really disturbs me.

It’s the typical love story which happened in more than one movie but every movie has it taste this movie Charlies Theron was wonderful or you can say the password of the creation and also it wasn't such normal love story but it was so near to be real , she Got specifically Blood Cancer and she went to her family to finish her life with them .

Actually, it's on right now, but it's in the other room and I stopped watching it to come in here and get on the computer. I haven't seen the whole thing all the way through.

she is dying of cancer and doesn't want to do all the chemo so she refuses treatment so that she can live each day that she has left to the fullest and in the end she leaves to go and be with her family for the rest of her days

she has sum kinda cancer u no...so evn though she loves keanu reeves she doesnt wanna let him go thru the pain of watching d love of his life die...n so she sends him back home n then probably dies soon after tht...kinda sad huh...

i don't get it either...does she commit suicide by jumping off the ledge or something...cus there was no where left to go.
