I have a Singer Quantum XL-6000, and I am looking to get a 4mm to 6mm hemmer foot. I was wondering since my machine is a snap on foot if I could use a Husqvarna snap on hemmer foot or any snap on foot for the machine. I cannot find what I am looking for in stores or at Singer's website. I am wondering if it isn't possible to use another machine foot, if there are any good online stores.

I sincerely doubt the Husqvarna feet will fit your Singer, there will be some very slight difference that will make it difficult. You can try though....but I've never had it work. The manufactuers are pretty good at making their feet fit their machines alone...heck, some of them are good at making their feet only fit their newer models, and if you have an older model, you're out of luck!!!

there is absolutely only one way to find out. Buy one and try it out , just make sure u keep the receipt so u can return it if it doesn't work.
if i were u i would also buy from a local store because it would b easier to return as opposed to mailing it back.
alot of times repair shops have parts for machines that u can't find online. Try ur local yellow pages for sewing machine / vacuum cleaner repairs and i'm sure they can help u.

You could check the Husqi specs and see if it says "fits Singer".

Sure its possible... some fit some don't. Try it, if not return it.
