i found out today that a old family friend is dieng of cancer and they are only giving him 2 weeks.... and im having a hard time with it hes like a childhood hero to me he was a firefighter at one point and has done alot of good in his small communiy.. how do you deal with finding out someting like this i have been so upset

Can an employer force a minor to clean out garbage cans, clean bathrooms, and other tasks not in job description. I work as an Usher for a movie theater, and they keep creating jobs for us to do while working, none of which were told to me when I was hired. Any online references would help greatly.

I know this is weird but I can not walk by an isle of plastic cups or bowls. I gotta have 'em! All colors and sizes! ha!ha! My Daughter is 9 and have a billion pocket books. All colors, styles, sizes, she just loves them. My mom is wacko over sneakers. What are the things you can't pass up?

I know this sounds a bit like one of those loaded questions that are often asked here, but I would sincerely like to know how one can reconcile the two positions.

Isn't killing always wrong, no matter who it is, what they have done, or where they are?

Its not hard to find a scriptural argument against abortion. Nor is it hard to find passages that seem to condone capital punishment. But I think that the words and teachings of Christ override anything previously said about capital punishment. Jesus was always in favor of forgiveness and love. When people as "what would Jesus do?" when it comes to even the worst criminals on Earth, I feel pretty sure that he would be against killing them.

So tell me: is pro-Capital punishment a Christian teaching?

It seems to me that if we're pro-life than we are pro-all-life.

6 years and i have not had a drink

what are you drinking tonight and what sounds good. Just to sit back and have a nice drink and look at the skies. OK I'm kinda of an abercrombie, old navy, ecko wearing kinda guy. What are some other kinds of jeans that are along the same lines? Have to be relaxed fit, with atleast a 20" leg opening. I don't want any answers recommending 'skinny jeans' I think they are gay. I also don't wanna hear about 'boot cuts' cause they are just skinny jeans with wide leg opening. Suggest some good fashionable jeans to me.
