Good responses here.

What do mean by eating good during the day? What is a typical good day for you? You may not be taking in enough calories during the day, which could make you very hungry at night. One myth floating around now is that you can't eat after a certain time. I don't know where this comes from. If your body is telling you to eat, you should eat. Just make sure you're eating the right kinds of things. Someone else made a great suggestion about drinking water. Good idea.

I hear you, cuz i do the same thing
But I have managed to stop myself for a weeks so far. I fasted on Good Friday, and since then I have been eating little food and not snacking. It's not that I'm on a diet I'm just not that hungry anymore...
Another thing that may help is to eat three meals and 2 snacks a day or 6 smaller meals

-Drink lots of water - when you are not drinking enough water your body will think it is hungry instead of thirsty

When you eat "really good", do you eat until you're full and satisfied? Because if you don't - and if you eat dinner too early and sleep too late - you're bound to get hungry and start snacking on junk food or just random tidbits lying around. More starchy food and fibre perhaps? Or leave some fruit in the house so you can also eat healthy after nine when you get hunger attacks. =)

I have a weird suggestion...

My doctor started me doing this... and ever since I'm able to control my appetite during the day...

You know those fiber drinks like Metamucil? Get a sugar free version, and drink one glass a day.

For all the reasons a doctor will tell you to put additional fiber in your diet... mine is now - not feeling hungry at odd hours anymore.

Make sure you are taking a good multivitamin to end other cravings... but DO try the fiber.. You never know!

Peace, hon.

maybe because you are HUNGRY!!!! If you don't want to spoil your good behavior then just drink water or eat a piece of fruit.

Probably because your body can't take your "being good" anymore. It needs food.
