What do you think? What are your thoughts?

Here are my thoughts. First off, he is protected by freedom of speech. This however does not make his comments right. But he should not be fired for them, it is basically saying that he does not have the freedom to say what he wants.

Second, he is not racist, a racist is one who feels they are superior to another race. His comments did not in anyway portrey himself to be superior to those girls. Are they racial remarks, yes! But until everyone comes out and says that rappers should be fired for making songs which are way more negitive against African Americans, then Don Imus should not be fired either, we should all be standing up for his right to speak freely, but making not that his comments were not well received.

Why doesn't Jesse Jackson come out and say he is sorry to the Duke lacross boys for his comments about them last year, wrongly accusing them of rape?

If you and four other people were hiding behind a dumpster with your backs to a wall and no way of escaping, and someone found you, dragged the four other people, one by one, out from behind the dumpster and shot them through the head, then looked at you and said, "You're ok". I'm a junior in high school and have a 3.6+ GPA. I find it hard to study for the SAT because homework takes up most of my time and I'm committed to sports. I took the practice SAT and didn't study AT ALL and I got a 1400. I was shocked because I thought I did well.. but then again, I didn't study!

So my questions are:
How much time should I put into studying for the real SAT (considering that I don't have much time)? Or in other words, how much time (days, weeks) will the average person need to study all the material to get a good score? Is studying a week before the test a bad idea?

What else should I know about the SAT?


I'm planning on taking the test on JUNE 2.

Why isn't Imus's producer being subjected to firing too? The producer is the one who started it with.... "those ho's... " then Imus just completed it and made it more descriptive.. "some nappy headed ho's". While I am "happy to be nappy " and proud of my heritage,and my natural unchemically relaxed hair, I do think it sexist and unfair to attack the character of women you do not know and in the process indict an entire race's female gender. Was it meant to funny? Maybe... Was it funny? No. But remember, it matters not by what name you call me, it matters more to which name I answer.

Almost every person i've ever got into this argument with whole heartedly believes that this story/movie is true....just because the back of the movie...or the movie preview says its true. Why do people refuse to do a little research and trust the movie industry?
