Why isn't Imus's producer being subjected to firing too? The producer is the one who started it with.... "those ho's... " then Imus just completed it and made it more descriptive.. "some nappy headed ho's". While I am "happy to be nappy " and proud of my heritage, and my natural unchemically relaxed hair, I do think it sexist and unfair to attack the character of women you do not know and in the process indict an entire race's female gender. Was it meant to funny? Maybe... Was it funny? No. But remember, it matters not by what name you call me, it matters more to which name I answer.

I agree. I'm glad Imus was fired for being racist and sexist, but a lot of the attention has been focused on the racism. I'm sick that young college women working hard to get ahead are being called racist slurs, but I also think it's hateful to be called a prostitute by men like these, or by anyone. Imus's co-sexist jerk should be fired too.

To the guy below: Why don't you stop blasting your sexist acid-rock and punk music and clean up their sick lyrics?

Why don't the producers of these hip-hop-rap songs get fired for letting that word(or even the phrase) plus others I will not mention be used.I don't care to hear this but am subjected to this from hard-of - hearing people in the next car.
That's all I have to say about that.
