I just found out that someone stole my debit card number and made purchases online(I have my card and never lost it). The cost in total is $235 from 10 transactions. I filed the police reports and later found out the name and address of the person from the companies he made charges to. I don't know the guy and he live in AZ. I'm in MA. The police made me feel like crap. He said this was too little for them to do anything. It is my money and I work hard for it. It is against the law. Good thing I caught this early. What if the guy do this to hundred other people? I have to go through all these with the bank the those companies. And I am still waiting for all the charges to be posted on my account before the bank can do anything. It is not fair. Anybody have any suggestions?

My garbage disposal doesn't work. I don't think it even whirrs. It just sits there. I don't think anything is stuck in it -- I've put my hand down the drain a million times and felt around.

I had a landlord once that came and flicked a switch on my old disposal and boom! Fixed! I don't see a "reset button" on my garbage disposal. If there isn't one, how do I "reset" it?

If the reset option doesn't work, I'll call the landlord -- I'm not gonna try to take it apart or anything. But I'm smuggling a cat, so I'd rather try to fix it myself if it is easy?
