F1 has pay drivers who come and go and make no impact on the sport.

So why not have a token female F1 driver who could have an impact and encourage young girls to take up racing. The reason there aren't any female F1 drivers is because there aren't enough young girls taking up racing from a young age. If we could somehow increase the number of girls who take up racing, then the talented ones will reveal themselves and get into F1 on merit.

However, I believe the only way to spark the interest in young girls is to have a token female F1 driver with enough talent. I think Danica Patrick is perfectly suited to become the token female F1 driver - She is good looking and is talented enough to not make a fool of herself in F1.

I have 4 fish tanks and constantly hear about lowering nitrates. I have the opposite problem in that my nitrates remain always very low...possibly to not even the reading of 5. I try to tell people I have low nitrates but for some reason, can't seem to get a believer. Is there an explanation for this low level in my tank and what can I do to increase nitrates in my planted tank?

I have dropped the idea from my belief and when I tell others that I don't believe in hell(especially when they tell me someone's going there) they get all bothered by it. Granted, it could be something that might bother people but why do people assume that I can't be Christian if I don't believe in hell?
I suppose the question is why do some act as though it's mandatory to believe in hell to be Christian? And do you believe in hell? (explanation please, I enjoy hearing others' comments and insights.)

As a philosopher (graduate school in philosophy), I know that I can be hard to get along with. People tend to not like it when you're right about everything all the time. ;)

I always wondered about dating someone like me -- I'd either love it or hate it. What's your experience with philosophers? Do they ask too many annoying questions? (Is this question annoying??) Do they have a need to be right all the time? Are they overly critical? Condescending or holier-than-thou (because they can't use simple, everyday words)?

If you don't have any experience here but are a philosopher, what are your strengths and weaknesses in a relationship?

i am really amazed how my body got over the flu in 2 days!!!! here's how it happened... late friday, my throat getting sore,i knew something was up. Saturday around 9 am, swallowing was a pain. I could still do normal stuff and eat. 3 pm, i started feeling light-headed, eyes become more sensitive to light, started to feel nauseous so i took a nap. 5 pm, i had a slight head ache and eyes really, really sensitive to light. started getting the chills. no matter how many sweaters i put on, i still felt cold. i lost my appetite too, how could i pass on raost beef!!! Just drank some more juice and water. played video game and took a nap. 9 pm. felt really weak, plus all the symptoms ive said. i've developed a fever. wierd feeling combined with the chills, hot and cold at the same time. treid to eat, watch tv, then went to sleep at 12. Woke up Sunday at 11, feeling better but, shoulder muscles were hurting, took tylenol, nose was runny too. Monday...runny nose is only what i can show for =)

She would like to go out with you again, and she understands this weekend is her weekend to pay (an agreement that have to many details to explain) so instead she invites you to her place for dinner.

Also what would you think if after dinner she told you that a show both of you wanted to watch was only recorded on her DVR in her bedroom because she was going to watch it one night by herself when she had some free time, but it was a show you wanted to now see as well, and she actually invited you up to her room to watch it.

Would you think she had this whole night planned out to have sex with you or is this the way the series of events played out, and guys would you think she was easy if this was just your 2nd date in a month but you talk to each other everyday.
