I lost my mobile phone but need a crime referance number to claim on insurance. I went to my nearest Police station 1 mile away, but becasue of where I live i'm in a different county and have to go to my apparantly local Police station which is 25 mile away and for someone who doesn't drive its quite a hassel.

Could I give a statement over the phone to get the number?

How can I describe the punishment of writing the same sentence a hundred times . I'm looking for a better sentence than "Do you want to write sentences ?" or "Do you want to write the same sentence one hundred times ?"

I have already posted two questions regarding my beloved flowers, as they froze two days ago after they had just started blooming and I was wondering if the blooms could somehow be "thawed-out" to enjoy them in bouquets(would still welcome answers about this!). I have lived at my rental property for almost six years and this was the best year yet-they were looking absolutely beautiful as they have become well established (daffodils, hyacinths, etc.). Now I am going to be moving and since my landlord is not a "flower person" they will literally be mowed over after I leave. Where I am moving to I will not be able to replant them immediately and may have to store them for awhile-can this be done? If so, how do I store them? Also, they will need to be removed before the greenery has died off and completed it cycle-will this kill them?I will be moving mid-summer and I live in northwest PA if this makes a difference! Fellow gardeners and flower people please help!

My dining room table is a round oak parlor table - with a hand rubbed wax finish...

A few times, a hot plate was put directly on the table without a placemat and left a milky mark in the wax finish .... (damn kids - you tell them a thousand times and no one listens - haha)

Anyway - how do I rub out this white ring? Do I use solvents / paste wax? Please advise .... thanks!!

I need some help trying to figure out how to find the escape velocity from a planet. If i have the radius of the planet, and the gravitational acceleration speed yet no masses of the planet or the object to be fired upwards, which equations should i be using to find the escape velocity ?
