Older folks tend to always tell me "you don't fear god," but it sounds stupid if your god is merciful. Is there some "hebrew" meaning to the word fear they're using? (usually when things sound bad to christians; like god saying he takes pleasure in seeing you suffer when you don't obey his law; the words magically turn to some hebrew meaning that is the complete opposite).

How Long are contractions supposed to last... I know they are supposed to be less then 5 mins. apart but how long are they supposed to last like the duration of each one? I have been getting contractions for last 2 days about 3-5 mins apart when I was in yesterday they told me, but they said they weren't strong enough and then sent me home cause my uterus hadn't dialated. it was 50% and soft, but not dialated at all. My contractions have gotten a little stronger, but they are lasting a really long time. on average 8 mins. is this normal? I still don't think I'm dialated.. I don't want to go back in and be sent home again I was wondering if anyone knew how long too long was for a contraction to last. And what the risks are?

1. How does bacterial resistance to antibiotics support for Darwin’s theory of evolution

2. There is a theory that Native Americans are the descendants of people who migrated to North America across the Bering Straight from Siberia (Russia). Considering the fact that the Bering Straight is now covered by water, (think geographic isolation) explain how the existence of Native Americans supports Darwin’s theory of Evolution.

I call it my evil side vs angel side. If I take a piece of paper and cover half my face in the mirror or in a photo there seems to be a huge difference in the look, I mean if you made a complete face (ie right side matches exactly to left side and vice versa) you get two totally different people. I like my left side. It seems like my eye is more awake the other side (my right side) looks... well lazy. n it's actually the side which my eye has less long distance vision... that whole side looks lower... it's werid. One side looks young ther other older...
Have you ever had a good look at yourself and wondered why?

I know everyone has different sides to their face and that the better they match the more beautiful you are considered by others. But what makes them different? Is it the way you sleep? Can you make them match better? You can check some of my pics at www.myspace.com/lilaceyes

Ok well earlier I posted about how I was having trouble hooking up with this one girl cause she complained that I was uncircumcised and that 9 inches was too big for her. So I told her to take it and leave it and she just blew me off. I dont know how else to get over this other than ask you ladies what you all think of someone who is uncircumcised and 9 inches. If you would like a picture let me know personally. Thanks for your time and understanding

Why do some of you insist we are so oppressed because we cover our beauty? Did some of you ever think that maybe we were tired of being valued on how small our waists are or how big our chests are? I have not met a single muslim woman who was forced to wear the veil, and I've been to Pakistan and Kuwait. In Pakistan, they walk around, heads uncovered, and some wearing tight salwar kameezes (long shirt and pants). Is it too much to ask you to look at us with an open mind and to let go of the stereotypes?

They've been dating a few months...he left us for her.

I put their names on my back after each labor to celebrate their birth.....its always been special and private to me......

BUT SHE PUT THEIR NAMES ON HER! I've always been an advocate of being rational/calm....but really, I'm so distressed by this! Only human. Am I wrong to feel this way? Or do I need to calm down?

I'm having trouble sleeping over it. THEY ARE MY KIDS!! She may love them, but I feel she's crossed the line. Am I being oversensitive?

Am I over-analyzing my emotions........am I wrong or over- reacting? Because this hurts and angers me equally. Please help....I feel like a sad whack job over this bs.

my fiance and i have very unique tastes and are going for a goth and roll sort of wedding. dark dramatic colors and all that. we are pulling ideas from travis barker's wedding, and bam and missy margera's. now, due to some superstitions in my family we cant use your average wedding songs to walk down the asile to. so i need a song to walk down the asile to. So far my ideas include something slower and mellow by Apocolyptica. im looking for any suggestions that have a gothic edge, but dont sound sad. im willing to listen to any suggestions, be they classical, or just the acoustic version of some metal song out there. we are also looking for a similar song for when we exit the church. help please!

I was considering a job with Cathay Pacific, All Nippon Airways, or Japan Airlines. I was born in the United States and I was taught in Cantonese and Japanese. I was checking on the different international airlines websites, and a majority says that you need to be a permanent residence of that country in order to work for them.

I just read the answers of atheists explaining evolution.

Atheists talk about Christians be closed-minded, and only giving answers from Scriptures, and the Bible is Bull, And How can we believe what we read from the Bible, you know all the negative stuff we read in their answers & questions.

After I read their answers all I could say is,

WHAT????????

Most who answered, their answers were not even their own thoughts, Maybe from books?????

They tell us we are brainwashed, most of their answers were the same

They deny the Word of God for blah, blah, blah, blah.

I'm sorry Atheists I don't buy it.
After reading that, you could never convince me of evolution.

PARIS (AFP) - The fossilised remains of an amphibian which lived more than 245 million years ago have been found in Antarctica, suggesting that the climate during much of the Triassic era was remarkably balmy.

The 60-centimetre (24-inch) piece of skull was teased out of thick sandstone at Fremouw Peak in the Transantarctic Mountains, just six degrees short of the South Pole.

Palaeontologists in Europe and the United States have identified the beast as a Parotosuchus, a two-metre-long (6.5-feet) giant salamander-like predator that lived 40 million years before the first dinosaurs, inhabiting lakes and rivers.

A member of the Temnospondyl group, Parotosuchus was covered in a scaly skin, unlike the smooth skin of modern-day amphibians, and probably moved with an eel-like motion in the water.

Previous Parotosuchus remains have been found in Germany, Kazakhstan, Russia and South Africa -- until now the most southerly part of their range.
