I just read the answers of atheists explaining evolution.
Atheists talk about Christians be closed-minded, and only giving answers from Scriptures, and the Bible is Bull, And How can we believe what we read from the Bible, you know all the negative stuff we read in their answers & questions.
After I read their answers all I could say is,
WHAT????????
Most who answered, their answers were not even their own thoughts, Maybe from books?????
They tell us we are brainwashed, most of their answers were the same
They deny the Word of God for blah, blah, blah, blah.
I'm sorry Atheists I don't buy it.
After reading that, you could never convince me of evolution.

Yeow Ten...
I'm sorry but I just don't see or believe the evolution theory.
if believing God is our Creator makes me closed-minded, then i would rather be closed-minded.

Dear Spoken,
I'm in total agreement with you. I've heard the atheist arguments over and over, as well as the Evolutionist theories. None of them make sense. And since I haven't seen any monkeys turning into humans lately, I'm even further convinced that Evolution is false.
Ok, so they say we're brainwashed.......I'd rather be brainwashed for Jesus than I would be believing that I evolved from apes and pond scum.
As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

hrm, flaw in your question
>>>

Yes the ideas ARE based upon something that someone has proven and they were read out of books. What is someone just supposed to sit down and say "this is evolution" and just hope it is the correct answer?
The point of science is to speculate what if, test the idea, and either prove yay or nay to that idea. And yes those ideas WERE recorded in books, it's called history, and it's good to write down...
After all the bible is an interpretation of a story that someone a LONG time ago wrote down....
so you may not buy the fact that some people will read a science book, and "get it" and "buy" the ideas in the book etc.. but that is where belief systems come from, research and ideas of other people that are either proven or expanded upon. (Even your bible is based upon that).
The main thing though is that scientists dont just say "this is right and everything else is wrong" however Religion does, and considering there are a few 1000 "religions" in the world (one of which is called scientology) they cannot all be right, so how can you be sure Christianity is the right one if you dont question it?

That's the beauty of science, though... we don't HAVE to prove anything to you or convince you of anything. Evolution just IS... Science just IS. You don't have to believe in it for it to be the truth.
Science is ever changing as new information becomes available. Religion is static and will never change.
I'm sorry that the information people have provided is from books but that's how we learn. Very few of the people here on this website will have studied evolution first hand to provide an answer for you. All we have is what other scientists have provided for our education and enlightenment.
I've read the bible, studied it with scholars and believers... there is nothing that will ever convince me... and religion MUST convince others without direct proof... that creationism is the truth and that the bible is historically accurate.
In this case, we are at odds and will likely remain so.

There is no proof that any God did anything unless you accept that a God created the Mass and energy that caused the Big Bang. I would think it would be insulting to such a God if you would not believe that the God would know enough to perceive that the Big Bang began evolution. The God would also know the paths of evolution of every mote of that big Bang. Including the Earth and human beings amongst everything else in the universe.
Why do Christians underrate a God just to have a parable in a book accepted as a true happening?

Why do Christians keep asking atheists to explain evolution? Why aren't you asking about evolution in the science and nature rooms where you will find scientists who can explain it well.
Some atheists have very good knowledge about evolution,
and some are no better than Dr. Dino. There are also atheists here who are ignorant louts and trolls and christian baiters....your counterparts. The only thing that makes us atheists is that we don't believe in god.
We are not the keepers of all knowledge, though many of us are well educated and knowledgeable. You act as if you ask us enough questions, you'll find one we don't know the answer to, and that somehow proves god exists. Weird.
It's too bad you don't understand evolution. There are lots of good places you can learn about it, and educate yourself. Richard Dawkins is an excellent communicator, you should read ANY of his books.
And oh no!!!
People were giving you answers from books...actual books !!
the horror...the horror.
If you won't read books other than the Bible, then you will remain ignorant about evolution. And that is your loss that you deliberatly CHOOSE to be uninformed.

Look, it is not our fault if you don't accept what every branch of science so plainly understands. I could tell you a lot of information about the solar system being sun-centered, not Earth-centered, and yes, it would be taken from books and websites. So what? Does that invalidate the information? How do YOU get your knowledge of science, chemistry, math, etc.? Do you just dream it in your own head, or do you learn it from books?
Below are a couple of websites I really would like you to read. They provide some very basic information about evolution. If you truly want to be wiser, instead of living in darkness and superstition, then at least read these sites before dismissing evolution. At the very least, you'll be able to come up with more intelligent arguments against it instead of, "Omgz u guyz are stupid cause u don't believe in teh Bible!!!111!!" And then we won't have to make fun of you as often.

Because evolution is true. The way you know it's true is that all things that evolve follow the exact same pattern; be they aircraft , buildings or people.
1) After many fits and starts the initial idea finally works
2)The permutation period : variations on the basic theme run rampant
3) Arrival of the prototypical form- all that follow will have this basic form
4) Simplification and refinement of the now standard form The end result is maximally efficient.
If the environment changes, repeat steps 3&4
Steps 3&4 answer the oft asked question of why monkey's don't become people.

Evolution is a scientific theory. In case you don't remember, there are three different types of scientific statement: a law, a theory, and a hypothesis.
A law is one that has been proven many times over and not yet once disproven. A hypothesis is a postulated statement that can be tested and has not yet been proven.
A theory is a scientifically valid statement, one generally accepted by the scientific community, but cannot be proven. They are generally statements that involve us traveling back in time to figure it out. Like the Big Bang.
Atheists do not believe in God. Therefore, they do not believe in the story of creation found in Genesis. Keep in mind this is only one bible, there are many other religions with other bibles and other creation stories. This is the scientifically accepted creation story.
If you don't like it, deal. It's their view.

The word Never makes you closed minded. I am open to any evidence you have for your god. I for one have studies evolution in bacteria, it is hard to observe changes in larger species evolution doesn't happen that quickly its a slow process over many generation. Bacteria and viruses have evolved and science has observed it. Science unlike religion accepts challenges to its word, in fact it want them, it wants a better solution, but it hold on to the best and most accurate according to the observations of the world around us. Science is always changing, and always looking for more and better answers. Saying god does it is an insult to your intelligence and an insult to the natural wonders that our universe is.

I have never said that any person has been foolish or close-minded because of their faith or race. Anybody who did is just being lazy, and didn't want to use their most important muscle, their mind. If someone wishes to adequately express a point, they should never insult their audience. It not only automatically shuts out their words to those people, but it makes their point of view flawed. I apologize on the behalf of anybody who has acted in such manners.

Sure :D .... you are free not to believe in evolution wholesale :D... in fact there are still unexplained stuff in the evolution theory, I, myself, is still asking questions on it :D.....
Everyone has their free will to believe what they want to believe in.
footnote : No Christians can explain to me, who created the creator since a creator is required for everything? How come you cannot believe or even imagine universe itself is outside time and space when you believed a single unproven entity is outside time and space? How come..... nevermind, there will be no answer anyway.
