I cannot understand how a mother could do this to her child? What is happening to our world that a mother could do this? This is happening far to often to children. This woman was caught in a sting operation because of something she posted on the internet.

i really need the symptoms of abuse (addiction) and withdrawl symptoms. i have a friend and am really worried she is abusing her medication. i have checked sites but to no avail. they all say tranquilizers are addictive, but when listed haldol is not among them. i would appreciate resources listed if any are used. thank you for your time

I am 21 yrs old, and have never been in a relationship. I am young, but I feel like I can not mentally connect with some people. Im sure it has to do with trust issues and bad instances in the past with friends. I feel like if I cant trust friends, what makes me think I can be in a romantic relationship and build trust. Also most guys I really like dont like me, and the guys that like me I dont like in a romantic way. Apart of me is getting desperate and hopeless. I would like to experience a healthy relationship, and experience vulnerability, love, friendship, and passion. I think for me to experience this I have to just give in, to the next guy that asks me out. Also I can get really shy, and im afraid this puts people off and they see me as akward, or cold.
Am I being dramatic, or are there people out there than can relate, and give advice?

A strategy consists of buying a market index product at $830 and longing a put on the index with a strike of $830. If the put premium is $18 and interest rate is .5% per month, what is the profit or loss at expiration (in 6 months) if the market index is $810? A $20 gain B $18.65 gain C $36.29 loss D $43.76 loss. I know you will lose $20 or the buy and gain $20 on the put. Minus the premium for $18 you've lost $18, where does the interest rate come in?

This is obviously a hypothitical questions, I posted this last time and got a few answers about different stocks to invest in, and also that I didn't specifiy what the market index product is. This is a question that has to do with generic derivitives, so it could be a S&P Index or anything really. Sorry about the repost but I forgot the interest rate (.5% MONTHLY) last time.

My mother was never there for us and left my to raise my two younger siblings. She comes and goes as she pleases these past 10 years. Well now she is back and says it has all changed, wants to be with us again. She done this before and left, so i dont know if i can trust her to even for give her? i believe in second chances but how many after that are you suppose to give?

Algebra in the Let, then, format! Help!?
I really need help!! The format it's in is Let dimes (for example)=x, then nickels=x+6.. Both Let and then have to use the SAME VARIABLE! Then the work. And could you take me through it step by step? I'm really confused, and I have a test on it in a few days.

1) A jar contains $36.25 in dimes and quarters. There are 250 coins 'in the jar. How many quarters are in the jar?

2)In a pile of coins, there are 15 more quarters than loonies (A loonie is a one dollar coin). The total value of the coins is $21.25. How many quarters are there?

NO!!!!!!!! I'm getting really REALLY REALLY frusterated now!!! I've asked this question 3 times! THE VARIABLE HAS TO BE THE SAME!!!!!!!! LIKE, LET quarters=x, and dimes=4x!!!! THEY HAVE TO BE THE SAME!!! I WOULD FAIL IF I USED DIFFERENT WAYS!

In 2006 we had to pay a lot for medical expenses (deductibles, etc, our insurance isn't great). The main expense was heart surgery our baby had in October 2006. With the back-and-forth between the hospital and our insurance company, including some incorrect rejections the insurance company made initially , we didn't get all of the bills (and therefore make all the payments) until 2007. Can we claim the 2007 payments on the 2006 surgery on our 2006 taxes (I want to b/c then we would exceed the 7.5% AGI....but I'm thinking that wouldn't be the way the IRS works?)
