In my country (Malaysia) we are paying the above amount for one liter of petrol. We are net oil producer and our government said that amount is "damn cheap" to compare with other nations. Is the Malaysian government "bullshitting" its people?

In Australia the average today is $1.26 a litre, we too are oil producers but are at the mercy of Apec, who set the prices in Singapore.
