Does anyone know the name of the women in the Sunday morning session of General Conference that gave the talk on being a 1st generation Mormon? I caught her first name. It's Vicki, but I couldn't get down her last name. (Isn't conference so far GREAT?!)

Ok, so before she went psycho and started ruining her life, did you think she was a good singer? I mean when she was starting out when she was like 15 or 16, did you think she was good? I just listend to one of her music videos, from like 1995, and I though it was really bad. I mean, when there wasnt people singing in the backround, she sounded pretty weak. I guess people don't realize what a good voice sounds like these days. But really, before she started exposing herself in her music videos, and shaving her head, do you think she was a good singer??
I don't, thats for sure. What do you think?

A place to go where we can share fellowship with others, discuss current events and the latest findings of science, get involved in charity drives, help the community, and educate people? I recently read an article about love and sex addicts, what is the difference between that and the desire it be loved and share physical affection? It occurs to me that there is a point when people can go over the line of what is "normal". But how would you know the difference? So what then is a love and sex addict?

I work for an auto auction delivering cars and trucks to the auction and then to dealers after the auction. Some of these vehicles are not in great shape!

The other day, a coworker was driving a Subaru outback and rear ended another car. He claims that the brakes on the car worked well until the accident. In that instance, he claims the brakes "felt" normal in that the pedal did not go to the floor but did not even slow down the car.

If my thinking is correct, it is possible that the system malfunctioned and sensed that all four wheels were locked and released (or prevented) hydraulic pressure to the brake cylinders.

Do any of you certified mechanics out there have an experience with this?

I live in the dallas area and im looking for someone who can do maintenence on my dreads for me. I cant do it myself because i dont have my supplies here or the people who help me back home. Please help me, provide links or something. Doesnt matter if its in home either. They are about 3 months old and look alright i guess, but its the in between period so they look juz "alright" and i've been envolved in football so that doesnt help either...please help...appreciated

There is about a two inch area at the top of the screen that has thin white lines that literally slices the picture on the screen, and makes a reverse-upside-down-mirror image of what ever is at the top of the screen. Also, when I try to play a DVD in the player, it makes a horrible noise and doesn't play the disc, and it is also very difficult to retrieve the disc (I have to turn the television off and back on). Can this be remedied or will I just have to get a new television? Thank you for your help!

Global warming is directly tied to CO2 in the atmosphere, correct?, And over the years there has been a steady increase in CO2, correct?, Then how do you explain the sudden drop in temperature in the mid 1900's, or the mini ice age in the 1000's? What about the scientific fact that heat creates CO2 and CO2 doesn't create heat? Don't be mean. It's just a question.

What religion, or if you don't have a religion, do you believe in and why???

Right now I do not know..I'm reading the Bible and trying to understand Christian beliefs but I want to know what else is out there and if you are Christian which denomination and why you believe. Any information will be helpful. Serious answers only please.

Also I am having a hard time with the Christian belief that being gay is wrong. I have gay friends. If that's what they want to do, I am not going to stop being their friend because of it. I don't see anything wrong with it (besides the Bible saying over and over it's wrong..which I still don't believe the Bible I guess).

And how can you believe everything the Bible says without question? I'm having a hard time with that.
