I asked this question in another category, I got good answers just wondering what I would get from the cycling community???
I am looking to drop a few pounds and don't want to lose muscle mass. I am not over weight, just looking to increase speed on bike. I have been reading about whey protein and was wondering of the pros/cons of using a protein supplement? Female 5'10" I eat well, brown rice, pasta chicken, salmon, leafy veggies and riding about 100+ miles per week, need to move the process of building more lean muscle mass and dropping pounds. :) Should I add a protein shake as a snack? Replace a meal?

Me and my husband do not have cell phones. We dont because we just dont see the need to spend at least 50 dollars a month per person to have one. We just tell eachother our schedule before we leave in the day and stick to that and show up on time. I think its very funny everyone HAS to have one now adays. What do you think people did before cell phones? If i need to make a call i just find a pay phone. Also sometime people get really mad at me for not having one, i just laugh and give them my home phone. I actually like not being reachable 24/7 sometimes I just dont want to talk to you :) Anyone else in my boat?

i've taken out 32 cypress evergreens and now miss the privacy. I don't need complete privacy, filtered is fine. I'd like the height ideally around 5-6 feet and relatively low maintenance. Color is great. thanks!
