I hate American Idol. Does anyone share my point of view?

This show does not seems like a singing competition this season 2007. Why only viewers have to vote?Why can't the famous music directors & singers be the judge on show and vote who's truly the best? That would be a better option and bring out the true american idol!
So guys...Isn't this best idea for a change on next season? Don't you think?

No. I love it. I'm a musician and producer and have always enjoyed finding new talent! Most of the signed artists in todays music business cannot sing that well live its the magic of the studio and producers that make them sound good. They sing to a track on stage. Some do it for a good reason because they are dancing but some because they are horrible singers. We have to give these American Idol contestants some credit for being able to sing live.

I have mixed feelings about the show. I believe that when the truly good singers are put on the show, it's amazing. Then again when you have someone like sunjaya who is becoming a "cult classic", and is allowing people to mock the show, American Idol then loses its special touch. Also at times I wonder about how the votes are counted or if they are really counted at all. Basically Sunjaya ruined the show.

I like American Idol I am frustrated with the people who are particapating in the vote for the worst thing. There are very few things on tv that you can watch with children why whould people want to ruin it.

Maybe,some contestants as Sanjaya has been making me angry but I like American Idol!

I never missed a season yet but I am really disappointed in it this year. Sanjaya should have never made it this far and the good singers are being eliminated. I don't know what people are looking for when they are voting but it can't be talent.

I'm not a big fan--I only watch the first few weeks when they are doing the auditions. I love listening to the comments the judges give...it will never get old!

I didn't car for it at all until last year. That dude Chris Daughtry was the first person I've seen from that show who actually had talent. This year sucked a$$
