His german shepard mix just had a litter of puppies. She's about 3 years old. He said he had her tubes clipped, which was a new procedure that his vet had him do. (I've never heard of it, and haven't had time to look into it, I assumed they always just took everything out) Anyway, he wants to have the 2 puppies he's keeping nuetered at 6 weeks, doesn't have any idea how much their shots are. And now he's decided he's going to 'donate' the mother to the police department. Because she's young enough to learn to be a police dog. Another lady chimed in with 'oh, she's going to be a drug dog! How awesome!' I didn't say anything, just shook my head and walked away.

I figure he's just shipping her off to the shelter and doesn't want to look like a jerk.

Okay i got a basset hound and his dad has papers and he is AKC and the mom is AKC but she never got her papers filled out can my dog still be AKC? Also I was wondering about being CKC?

They seem perfectly spherical, no ring around the middle from casting. no nipples They are uniform , precise size and they are mass produced. How do they change a lump of steel into an exact ball with no visible markings and do it in large numbers

I have worked in the computer field for 15 years as a Computer Specialist. I’m unable to find work and getting very close to being homeless! Furthermore, have Type 1 Diabetes and the cost of my insulin and supplies are more than $900.00 per month. I have not been able to take my insulin for over two weeks now because I can’t afford it. I have worked all of my life and never ever thought that I would find myself in this position. I would be very grateful for any advice that anyone could give me. Thank you for your time.

call from school counselor because she wrote a paragraph about wanting to be a pole dancer when she grows up because they hardly wear any clothes and get to wear make up. It breaks my heart she is beautiful and intelligent and witty but recently has been making remarks about how popular she is and how all the boys like her. I am a stay at home mom who trys to teach my kids morals and manners and how to respect others. Her father and I have been seperated for 7 years now and she has a stepfather who works a lot but we have a great relationship. Is this going on because her father lets her hang out with older children or becasue he is having another baby or what ???? I am desperate fpr answers. I know i need to nip this in the bud now... Teen years aren't that far away.

Don.t you think that mental and emaotional abuse should be punishable by law? I ask the question because a friend of mine got out of a really bad emotionally and mentally abusive relationship, yet she can not press charges or anything else for the abuse..because they are no physical marks? Shouldn't there be some kind of way to "measure" the damage done, and therefore prosecute..we do it for children who suffer abuse from parents?

Let's take a look at the statisics:
From the getgo, our troops were undersupplied as far as body armor and supplies, given faulty Humvees, and insufficiant medical care (re walter reed and all the other insufficent hospitals with "waiting lists" ) all the while private contractors such as Haliburton overcharged the pentagon, when the money that was overspent could have gone to getting our troops the supplies they need.

Now congress has put their foot down: Get us out of this war. Get the troops out of harms way.

Think about it Righties....you're looking worse by the day.

Ok, 3 questions in one...

1) Why did the Violent Femmes sell out to Wendy's of all people?
2) What is Wendy's trying to imply by having "Blister in the Sun", a song about heroin addiction, playing in a commercial for the spicy chicken sandwich? That they're as addictive as heroin, or that they'll kill you like heroin?
3) Is this a sign of the coming Apocolypse?
