They are both supporting Sanjaya to remain in the competition. Telling people to vote for him because he is the worst. Do you think it is because of this that Sanjaya is still on the Show? Lots of people listen to Howard Stern. I think it is unfair because people that are better singers than him are getting voted off, they deserve a fair chance.

i want to stop cutting for good, and stop thinking about hurting myself and stuff, only i can't ask anyone for help. and i mean i really, really can't do it. cause i get really nervous talking to people and can't do it, especially if they don't talk to me first, and i can't ask for stuff even if i really need to. like this one time when i was like 5 i wet my pants at school because i was afraid to ask the teacher if i could go to the bathroom (and I walked around with a wet skirt for the rest of the day), and in my whole life i've never once asked to go to the bathroom during class. and a few days ago i had a dentist appointment and i didn't want to go cause i was sick, and my mom said i could stay home if i wanted but only if i called to cancel it, so i had to go anyhow cause calling on the phone is worse than having people poke things in my mouth.

so how can i get help for stuff if i can't ever talk to anyone or ask for help?

I have started reading a robotics/micro-controller book, but have not reached the motor or digital to analog sections yet. From what I have read, I know the pins can output 0 to 5 volts, steady or at different pulse rates. Then theres digital to analog circuits, step motors, DC motors, AC motors, and infrared sensors that can read a pattern on the wheel and therefore calculate an angular velocity that can be used as feedback.

From all these tools, what is the typical method for controlling a motor's speed? What is the best motor to use? Should I drive it with pulses (PWM I think) or an anolog signal? Are there pins on some micro-controllers that can directly accept the analog signal from the infrared sensor?

I'm looking for a general explanation from somebody who has experience in building amatuer robots.

For your information, I'm looking to eventually buy A-Wits Technologies C-Stamp.

Say I like this girl. But when we hang out in groups, one of my BEST friends is always talking to her. At first it's fine....but after a while I'm thinking " you're supposed to be helping me out but you're actually making it harder." and i actually bring it up a couple times. However, we hang out again and he does it again. We get into an argument and don't talk for several weeks. So I'm trying to patch up the friendship. But then later I find out this friend has been hanging out with the girl a few times. I think this is odd since they were barely friends and also that I wasn't aware that they hung out or talked at all........and its also odd he never invited me along.

So when I ask this friend about it, he doesnt think he did anything wrong and its no big deal. I think that he likes her and is basically trying to hang out with her behind my back and also keep our friendship.

Do you think the friend likes her, and if so , what would you do?
