Sociologists tell us that there is a state of mind called, "big country syndrome" that pushes travelers from large, powerful or heavily populated countries to be significantly more arrogant, insensitive and brash than the citizens of smaller nations.

I mean, when was the last time that you saw a humble, insensitive American, Indian, Britain, German, Russian or Chinese?

They have a psychological tendency to "dump" on smaller countries, about which they are usually terribly ignorant.

It's nothing personal, you understand. Citizens of the big countries just don't know any better.

Because they are jealous!! Especially the Americans. In the last world poll, Canada was Number One in countries where people all over the world would most like to live. The U.S waas like number 27 or something one above Iran!!!

Canada rocks. My husband makes fun of Canada sometimes, but it is more in a joking sense. He means no insult. We are planning on moving up there eventually. It would be nice to live in peace for a change.
