I'm not what someone would refer to as a 'hardened smoker' - I generally smoke around 20-30 a week, 40 max. And they're Silk Cut Silver, so low nicotene and tar and all that jazz... but, I have noticed myself smoking a bit more recently because of stress with college, I failed an exam, and I broke up with my boyfriend, and I have manic depression which has been fluctuating madly.
what I want to know is, I have tonsillitis, not quite sure where from, I don't get it very often at all, and last time I didn't even notice I had it! I had white lumps on my tonsills, but didn't really feel much discomfort at all - I just ignored it and it went away. Could my smoking have contributed to my tonsillitis? How much will it prolong the healing process if I smoke while I have it? I just don't know which will be worse - taking a few days extra to get better or my nicotene mood-swings!
Thanks for any help :)
