I just got this computer from my father and its pretty old 3 of 4 years. He had a friend to fix it because we were having some issues and i think in the process this friend installed a newsound card. Well this computer is so old that I had to install tons of updates, and after i did this my computer had no MB so i decided to uninstall the server pack 2. And when i did my sound complelty stop functioning. I've tried several times to reinstall the driver and it will not let me. I never got the installation cd because this computer was given to me. I complelty unstalled everything from my computer ater it stopped working hoping to reinstall it. I really don't know what to do now. I have no sound and I don't know what to do and how to fix it. ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!!

Hello:
My home network has 3 PCs: 2 win XP, that don't have any problem for sharing files and folders, and 1 with 98, that can see all the PCs in the network but can't open shared folders in XP, just printers. I disabled xp firewalls but didn't work, so I think the problem is windows. This is all what I found at network properties in win98:

Configuration:
*client: Client for MS networks: start session and restore network connections
*client: start session in MS Family
*service: Share printers and files for MS networks: LM Ad:yes, main explore: enabled
*device: Telephon access adapter
*device: xircom Ethernet Network
*protocol: TCP/IP for telephon access adapter
*protocol: TCP/IP for xircom ethernet network

Main sesion starting: client for ms networks
Printers and files sharing: allow file access, allow printing with my printers

Identification:
PC Name: IBM (troubling PC)
Workgroup: home (the right workgroup)

Access Control: resorurces Access control

In XP I enabled file sharing

I'm a new painter, and just so you know from the start, I am very good. I'm represented by a gallery in Columbus, but I live on the West side of Cleveland. I know I could hoof it around with my portfolio, but I am agoraphobic and this is nearly impossible for me. I have been having this aching pain in my upper abdominal area and sides for three days now. It has been coming and going but lasts in long periods. Like hour or more then will kinda just stop. Sometimes i feel nausias, and it gets to the point where i can't breathe as good. I got up and took a shower, but it still was very uncomfortable and dint stop. Last night while out on the town i felt ths way, and this morning. Now this morning i had gas and went to the bathroom twice. So my question is, is it contractions, could it be the baby just hurting me because of no room or could it just be gas? This is my first pregnancy and i am 3 days shy of 38 weeks. Im just scared and worried because i dont know what to do or what to expect. I hope someone can help...

According to the endocrinologist, my son (7 years old) is destined to be 5' 0" tall (at best), and 4' 9" most likely.

Growth hormone will not have any effect on him because his body simply does not respond to growth hormone.

I love my son unconditionally, but the life and life experience will not be as kind or fair...

It is because of his extremely small size that he is destined to be regarded as a "FREAK", by his peers, but most especially by women.

He will have the life-long experience of having his human worth discounted simply because of his extremely small size, in this society obsessed with vanity, looks and physique

He will be discounted as a man, as a human being by women simply because of something he had absolutely no control over...in spite of his internal qualities.

I simply don't know how to prepare my son for the level of unfairness and devaluation this society has in store for him,..I literally have no idea how to cushion the blow.

I am 8 weeks pregnant. Confirmed by doctor and ultrasound.

But, the ONLY symptom I have, is that I'm tired all of the time.
I don't have sore breasts, or nauseousness, or morning sickness, or heartburn.

This is my second pregnancy.

Anyone else not have alot of symptoms?

I know this is a very sensitive issue but has it received much Press exposure over there.? I know there will be a tendancy to protect your own folks but there does seem to have been other less tragic occurances that have been hushed up.Perhaps its time to be less secretive about military matters with the Allies so it can be sorted out forever.

I live in North Georgia, and don't have much money in the rifle budget. I want a rifle big enough to kill deer cleanly, but not so big that it will destroy the pelts on coyotes that I hunt. I don't live far from a rifle range, so practice is not a problem. I want to get it before summer so I can get accurate with it before the season starts in the fall.
