I got a mini-skirt at my birthday party which is about 5 inches above the knees. Is it too short to wear thigh high stockings with it? I mean, does it matter if the stocking tops show a little if I am not careful.

Not saying you are
But I'd go with tights/stockings that start at your waist

The miniskirt does'nt sound too short but unless U have long legs U should'nt have to worry about the tops showing since they are "thigh highs".I have sum super short minis & stockings & unless ur dancing around or too drunk to care about it then it should'nt be a problem.A girl can wear anything.It's all in how U carry yourself that is important!

5 inches is probably OK, If you don't have short legs. Make sure that the tops of your thigh highs are long enough to not show unless you want to have them show. A little tease is OK. But only when you want to tease. Pictures please.

perhaps wear leggings, or maybe high socks (like kinda what they did in the 70s), i wouldnt recoment stocking that might show though

alot of my friends have short skirts and they wear leggings under them (the ones that end between your knee and ankle)

it would be VERY embarrasing for you if you stocking tops showed beneath your skirt
