they can,
for instance a CRT monitor uses two electro magnets to steer an electon beam across the screen to generate your picture...if you hold a magnet close it interferes and screws up the picture...(dont it can screw up your TV/monitor
Magnets can effect other devices...relays and solenoids both are based on magnets...aditionally if the magnet it moved over an an object it can generate current.
Most effects are miniscule, but if you have a large enough magnet just about anything "could" be effected,
depends on the device...like an electronic speedometer yes, the needle moves by the use of magnets so a stronger field would change it's position.
I've heard of watches being screwed up by strong magnetic fields as well.

A lot of that depends on the gadget. But the general answer is yes. Unless you know for a fact that the 'gadget' involved isn't sensitive to magnetic fields, it's a good idea to keep magnetics away from it.

Well most of the time cause like if you put a magnet on the computer screen when it's on you will see something happen, if you a magnet on some gadgets it will take the gadgets power

Yes, it effects electronic gadgets. The polarization of the magnet messes up that of the gadget.

Some watches yes. speedometers are quite unlikely as they are mechanical. Tachometers can be but it takes a rather strong one. Many electronic devices can and are affected by magnetic forces. Computers, TV, some radios, cumpases, some GPS devices and many more.
