I finally bought myself a guitar after procrastinating forever and i love playing. Only problem is no one around me appreciates my "masterpieces." Any tips on getting started, practice drills, tips on memorizing chords better., anything all you people out there in internet land have to offer i am all ears (or eyes in this case). Can you please tell me how that would work? I hadn't heard they had an Air Force or an Armada, so how do they amass enough fighters to bring the fight to us, I thought they were rag tag bands of insurgents and terrorists living in camps, or are there really magic carpets that they would fly here on? Are they Stealth carpets that radar wouldn't detect? Help me understand this please, thank you.

Because otherwise you're just saying we'll have another terrorist attack and the experts already say that's about a certainty so maybe if we stopped helping the terrorists recruit we'd have fewer of them to fight, is this faulted logic and how so?

I wont be able to start the nursing program-which has limited available spots untill fall 2008.. I am going to take all my pre-reqs this year and want to study as much as possible for when i start the prog. What should I study most? Biology? math?, anatomy (and do you need to know every specific part of anatomy for nursing?)? I just want to make sure I know as much as possible and am not waiting a year to start learning when I can learn now. .. and I have heard a lot of what hospital RN's do, what I'd like to know is what they do in clinics like a private pediatric clinic? The long and short of it is that I am married. We have two children together & I am happy to be married to him, but I am extremely unhappy in the city where we live. I have spent five years trying to learn to be happier here (I grew up here) but the absolute truth is that I am so overwhelming unhappy...so much that it is consuming me.

There is nothing here for me in this city. Most of my family has moved on. I generally feel very lost & out of place even though I have lived here all of my life. I have far more bad memories and experiences here than good. Every day it eats away a little more at me to the point where I have contemplated leaving my very loving husband just so I can live somewhere else. I've tried talking to people, wishing it was just depression but nothing is helping.

That is where the problem lies. He refuses to move, not even to another city in the same state. He knows how unhappy I am & it doesn't seem to concern him.

I just can't take it anymore.

a friend of mine passed away back in feb. a few weeks after his death, i had a dream in which he came to me and was laughing and smiling, when i asked him what he was doing here he asked me what i ment. when i told him he was dead he began to cry uncontrolably, he didnt know he was dead. when i woke up i was crying and didnt know what to do, it was a very vivid and real dream, i'm wondering if it was a last message from him, or just a dream, any insite would be helpful

Two 13-year-old boys came into the store where I work 2 weeks ago, jump behind our front counter & steal cartons of cigarettes. The police couldn't see their faces clearly enough on the security cameras to arrest them. Well they returned to my store tonight. I told them I was calling the police & they're not allowed in the store. I was verbally harrassed by both of their parents afterwards, saying things like "you have to deal with me now" & "you're lucky I'm calmed-down". Then they had the nerve to say that I threw their kids out into a snow storm & I should be the one arrested!! Why were they out in the snow storm in the first place? They're also trying to get me fired for this. The father even told me "I'm glad you couldn't prove it was my son who stole the cigarettes". My question is could I really get fired for making them leave the store? Also, should I press charges for the parents threatening me the way they did? Basically the kids got away with it now the parents want revenge

Many of you have been judgemental because of my desire to do well in dental school through trying to increase my focus. I tried Adderall once which is why I mentioned that one specifically in looking for an MD to write me a script. Have I been diagnosed? No. Did it help when I took it? Absolutely. I studied for 8 hour straight and aced my exam. Who is to say I don't have an attention deficit issue? and regardless, what is the harm in trying out medicine that helps one focus? Wouldn't you want your dentist to have used all the resources available to help him/her achieve the highest level of knowledge he/she is able to attain? Now I can't tell the MD that I tried Adderall and it worked. Once I took antibiotics without a prescription and they didn't work. When my throat started bleeding, I had to go to the emergency clinic at my school. They were not pleased.

If this were a real crime, someone would have been charged with revealing her identity under the federal statute. Yet no one has been charged with that specific crime.
