With the minnows around some more are quite possible.
Pl also tell the player likely to achieve the feat.

hypothetically it can all happen seeing as there are teams like Bermuda.
1) Hat- trick : Mcgrath, Tait, Ntini
2) 200- Ponting vs Holland, Dhoni vs Bermuda
3) 400- Australia vs Holland, RSA vs Scotland
4) 50 <20 balls- Boucher, Uthappa, Symonds (if he can play)
5) 100 <60 balls- Dhoni, Gibbs, Boucher
6) Fastest ball- Tait, Bond (depends on the pitch)
7) Bermuda < 36 runs

Yeah, I agree with you, we are yet to see some old records broken and new ones put in place! But I doubt if we will see these two records broken for a long time!
1. Six 6's in one over (i.e. 36 runs in one over).
2. Eighteen 6's in one game
It is also worth noting that these records took place in a game of 40 overs - which I think makes it even more impossible to break!

after seeing this world cup i can say one thing that this is the world cup were the new records are going to be made.and all the teams want to do better than other team so its a tuff world cup for the teams and the new teams are doing very well in this world cup like ireland after beating pakstan and dont forget the defeat from bangladesh to india they done the good job and this is the signal that this team is also a tuff team.

Pitching the worlds best teams against some of the worlds lesser talented teams on smallish grounds i'd say that there is a very good chance that someone (gilcrest?) will break the record for fastest 100

Nice question man. I would think probably 500+ score's on the cards. yESTERDAY. SAF would have got 500 if it would have been a 50 over match. So i think anything is possible with the MINNOWS in the series.
