I am currently a junior in high school and am scheduling for my senior year. I want to become a physical education teacher and was wondering what classes I should schedule for next year. I have already scheduled Sports Medicine as an elective and was wondering if I need to take a science, and if so what science is recommended. This year (as a junior) I am taking Chemistry. If anyone has any ideas or recommendations I would gladly appreciate them. Thanks.

Right at the end of my ribs I have increasing pain right there. Is that acid reflex or some kind of GI problem. Its been burning me right at that spot for 3 days now.

How can I cure this or decrease the pain until I can get to a doctor. Ive been taking Prilosec OTC and it works to a point and then I have the pain back again. Please, any ideas to get rid of the pain?

I'm curious - how well has it worked for any one who has taken it? If it worked, how long did it take to conceive? Did anyone experience any side effects that they don't mention? What are the chances of having twins?

Ok, so i like this girl and im going to see her this weekend i was thinking on asking her out but im not sure reallly... Last night we got into a convo and she asked me if i liked someone... I said yes and asked her if she liked somebody.. She said yeah but it varies... well she was talking about me cuz i know she has some feelings for me from one of her friends.. shes been doing things that make me think she dose... im just not sure if i should ask her out or not.... I stopped wearing glasses a few years ago and have been wearing soft contacts ever since. However, as I don't own a pair of glasses, I wear my contact lenses pretty much 10+ hours a day, 7 days a week. Also, a 3-month supply can last me up to a year - they still seem fine after a month so why should I throw them out?

Just wondering what the long term effect of this is? I am looking at purchasing a pair of glasses soon, but I'm just wondering if damage is already done.

Oh, and my prescription is -3 if that matters at all.

My best friend's 16 month old ended up with a temperature of 105 in the afternoon while at day care.They contacted her and her husband. Both work pretty far from the house and from his day care, which is by the house. She rushed as much as she could - in DC during rush hour there is no such thing as rushing given the amount of traffic. She made it there, but by that time, he ended up having a seizure :-( They had not administered tylenol or motrin and they had not clld 911. He was there with a 105 degree temperature for an hour. My gut feeling is that his temp spiked even higher within that hour. To me, it would seem that a temperature of 105 in a 16 month old would warrant a call to 911 for him to be taken to the nearest hospital.

Every year on Memorial Day I've given my dad, a veteran, the same thing--a bear hug and muttered thanks for the liberties and securities I too often take for granted which he fought and suffered a hell beyond my imagining to preserve.
He dislikes material gifts generally. I feel so inadequate.

Anyone know of something special and far out of the ordinary I could give him?

The way I was taught their is 5 patterns to the major scale. Their is also 7 modes. I am not talking about the ionian mode, I am talking about the extended major scale broken up into 5 pattern. When I say in 16th notes, I mean bpm with a metronome, in common 4/4 time. Mine is 119 bpm; I have been playing for a year. What's yours?

I don't mean anything great or famous, but something that exercised your abstract reasoning.

I will start: The chicken hawks were having a feast on my wild chickens (Guineas). So, I invented a reverse chicken trap. I lived out in the wilderness, so I placed these traps so when the chickens needed to find cover from the chicken hawks, they could run into these little boxes and the door would automatically close behind them. It was designed to open when the chicken simply pushed against the door. But the poor chickens couldn't muster the courage to come out or even touch the door. They seemed afraid to move once the door slammed shut behind them.

I told him I want a divorce, things just are not going to change and neither of us are willing to change what is bothering me most.
