My husband and I have been married for 3 years and together for 7. He was previously married before we were together. They got divorced in 1998. They have 3 kids from this marriage. My husband has legal visitation rights to see his daughters. When she lived in the same town as us, she let us visit them on our time, and more than that. Then she moved out of town and refused to let him see the girls for over a year. She finally let him see the girls, and then decided to move across the country. She refuses to let him see his daughters now, so we went to a lawyer and asked for a hearing for contempt. It was supposed to be 3/23, and today my husband recieved notice that she filed a restraining order against him! we are supposed to be in WA (and we live in IA) on 3/22 for a hearing! This is due to supposed abuse that happened during their marriage in 1995-1998. she also told the police she moved to WA because my husband tried to kill her. this is a lie. Can she do this?

I get tired of feeling like I need to find a man. I wish I could enjoy being single, having friends and living life. But it seems like society pressures you into being with someone. I heard that when you have a baby, your whole life changes. You no longer do things that make you happy (life goals, etc..) but now you are dedicated 100% of the time to a baby. I know that you love the baby, so you don't mind... but, man, isnt that alot to give up for 18 years of your life?

I just purchased a new HP Pavillion m7658n. It came with a video card that allows me to watch TV. When I began using it, I had a 19" monitor and I was able to watch tv, via cable, and watch dvd's with no problems. I just upgraded to a 24" monitor and now the dvd is "jerking"- I have tried using different DVD's. I am thinking that the video card cannot support the larger screen but can't confirm this. I spent a bit of money on the computer and would rather not have to spend another 125+ dollars on a new card, so I was thinking of plugging in a dvd player. The only issue is, I can't locate a channel to watch the dvd from the player, such as on my regular tv there is an ACV channel like on VCR's that may use channel 3. Any help would be appreciatd.

My friend is great and everything but she calls way to much. I do not know how to tell her to quit calling me nicely. I keep coming up with excuses like I have homework or I have to clean house but she always calls back and its obvious that I couldn't have taken that long. HELP!!
