"Creationists, who created the creator?"
By saying that you are implying that there also has been another infinite being and that there was a time when the other should not have existed. By saying that also, you are implying as well that the other one must have been bound by time for it to start its existence. (Meaning it has an imperfection.) But you CANNOT have 2 perfectly infinite beings.
ie 2 infinite beings, A & B.
A has perfections to an unlimitless degree, so is B.
A & B are not identical, (like what you stated).
That means that there should be a defect in A in the sense that it doesn't have the perfections that are properly B's. In the same way, that means that there is a limitation in B that has not the perfections of A.
Thus, unless A & B are identical and one, neither can be infinite. So there can only be one necessary being, because a necessary being is infinite.
So the first cause (whatever created the others)must be one ONLY and infinite.

The Creator is of a spirit composition - limitless; therefore, the Creator never required "creating" because spirit is not matter (having weight and occupying space). God in the Bible is called the " I AM" - this conveys a title depicting limitless state of being. God - the Creator, can not be contained with a single title since He is always becoming much, much, more. God is always growing or becoming. We, humans, continue to grow throughout life but age and ultimately, die due to our humanness [ limited] . We will never "catch" God because He has always been around therefore, He has had the "start" on us. This is why God is referred to in both, the Old and New Testaments as the " I AM" !!! Hope this places your question into a perspective which supplies you with a fair answer.

Well, evolutionists can't explain where the first bacteria or matter came from and we can't explain when God began, since the concept of no beginning is too difficult for our imperfect minds to grasp.
As for me, I choose to except the evidence around me of a loving creator. (1 John 4:8) I am not so full of pride that I believe that just because I can't explain something, it can't be true. If God, through his Word the Bible tells us that He has always been and that He will never have an end, I accept that and do my best to please him. Out of love, appreciation, and because without hope for the future, which those who don't believe in God CANNOT have, I would rather not live at all.

We can only try to understand what is before us. We cannot even agree on who or what created us, much less who or what created the creator. It is beyond our ability to know the answer to this question.

U know what... this is really a great question... to which i b'lieve none can give u a satisfactory answer and it is to b self experienced...
But anyway i will try my best...
"God is nothing but energy"... He is not created nor destroyed... He lives in different forms... In U .. in Me... In LOVE......
He has no creation... for he is there all time....Even in vacuum....
After all.....A person who could have created us and everything we see and we know or beyond must b someone who is for sure "Someone Who is Beyond our greatest Imaginations... Best Words... and ... Thoughts"...

Jehovah God existed before time itself. By definition there was nobody before him nor will there be anybody after him. He created; energy, light, gravity ,life, matter, including all the heavens and earth. I don't understand the confusion???

The Creator always existed and will always exist. The universe is His solitaire game; how He amuses Himself to pass eternity.

I am a deist. I believe that god was the big bang and then evolution took over.
Who created God is a good question that no one knows the answer to. No one knows for sure what started the universe, do you?
I wonder if maybe He just always was.
