Do we need to change the voting procedure, do we need to demand accountability from our elected, and other public officlals. And if so, how do we do that?

I have no personal agenda to promote, I'm looking for real ideas, not rhetoric.

I drive a 1998 KIA Sephia (piece of crap, I know) but ever since I've had the alternator belt and power steering belt s changed a few years ago, they sqeal like crazy when I first start my car up. Its particularly bad in cold weather, and when I turn my headlights or my a/c on, it squeals too. After the engine has been running for a while, it stops, but its incredibly annoying and I've had them adjusted and they STILL do it. I've tried the belt dressing that they have too. Didn't work.

Any ideas????

I snapped a coil spring on the front shock absorber of my car as a result of crashing into a speed ramp and the car is no longer drivable. I tried to do the job myself but was unable to do it. I have now made an insurance claim and the insurance companies recommended garage gave me a quote to replace both front shock absorbers which is quite expensive. My no-claims bonus is protected. Since making the insurance claim, I have found a garage that said he could finish the job I started at a reasonable price.I am now thinking I would like to cancel the claim end get my car back unrepaired. Is this advisable and would my insurance premium still be affected at renewal time. Also, as my car wasn't drivable after the accident and the garage had to collect it from my house and will have to bring it back.

Chuch is all up in arms because Bush removed 8 US Attorneys.

My understanding is a US Attorney can be removed at any time and just because the President wants to do it.

What is upsetting Chuck so much? How upset was Chuck when Bill Clinton removed ALL the US Attorneys when he took office?

Is this just another case of Chuck is going to disagree with anything Bush does regardless of what it is? Hey maybe Chuck should run for President? After all he's the senior Senator from NY. The junior one is already running. Why shouldn't he?

Maybe Chuck has so many skeletons in his closet he can't afford to be seen in the light.

i have a10' x 10' x 18" pond with a heater and a aerator. I have goldfish. I took the pump out for the winter and just kept the heater and aerator, i went outside yesterday to find the pond is slimy green. what should i do?

YES!!! GM produces total low quality junk. Buy a new GM car and you have an excellent chance of being stranded along the road. My new Pontiac had to be towed back to the dealership the day after I bought it. I was without a car for 3 working days and Pontiac refused to provide a rental. I thought the purpose of buying a new car was to get dependable transportation. GM has incompetent management, lousy engineers, and fat slob UAW workers. I bet that half of the UAW slobs cant write a complete sentence. GM is going under!!

I jus be abset from the place and be somewhere else

coughing. There are two who have not started feeling better and the rest are playing and running, all of the usual stuff for kittens and the adults are all better. There was never a loss of appetite except for these two. I have been giving them chicken broth by dropper. Any other suggestions as I can not afford the vet at this time. I am also giving them water regularly.
