The concept of the Trinity was ripped off from Pagans by Christians, before Christianity there was Judaism, and before that, there were Pagans.

According to the bible the Trinity has always existed.
John 1:1-4
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of men.
John 1:14
14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
It is true humans had a different relationship with God prior to Jesus becoming a man. But the 2nd (not second in order, just 2nd in label, and second by the fact he was begotten by the first.) person of the Trinity has always existed.
The Old testament is about mans relationship with God prior to the incarnation of the 2nd person of the trinity the new testmant is about man's relationship with God after the incarnation.

People prayed to God the Father of Christ. The Trinity is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

They prayed directly to God... mostly thru the Levite priests.... they couldnt grasp the concept that they could pray to God.... Priests would light incense and the 'prayers' would rise to heaven with the smoke....
When Jesus came, He taught about the Father and the Son... and when He was going to die, He promised that He would send a counselor to all who believed upon Him.... the Holy Spirit. We saw the 3 in one when Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist.... Jesus was coming up out of the water when the voice of God said, See my Son, with whom I am well pleased... and the Holy Spirit, in the form of a dove, came down .... yes, 3... but without God, none of the other 2 would have existed... that is the trinity... they are part of one another yet seperate...
I know that it is difficult to understand because people choose to not understand or accept...

Christ revealed the Trinity to us. Before Christ came this aspect of God was unknown. The Jews prayed to Yahwew. Pagans prayed to "gods" of their own creation.

Read John 1:1. In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. Jesus has always been there even before time began. Jesus is God, but in man form. The trinity is just three different characteristics of God not three different people. Beecause sin got so bad and because God is a forgiving God he sent a form of himself (Jesus) to die for our sins. Jesus went through every trial a man will experience on earth, but he overcame them. The trinity is one.

The trinity was always there, remember in Genesis chapter one it clearly says that "let [us] make man..." Jesus came to save us, provide a way for us to be free from the consequen ces of sin, that means he existed before.
2. Trinity:
There is one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, a unity of three co-eternal Persons. God is immortal, all-powerful, all-knowing, above all, and ever present. He is infinite and beyond human comprehension, yet known through His self-revelation. He is forever worthy of worship, adoration, and service by the whole creation. (Deut. 6:4; Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14; Eph. 4:4-6; 1 Peter 1:2; 1 Tim. 1:17; Rev. 14:7.)
3. Father:
God the eternal Father is the Creator, Source, Sustainer, and Sovereign of all creation. He is just and holy, merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. The qualities and powers exhibited in the Son and the Holy Spirit are also revelations of the Father. (Gen. 1:1; Rev. 4:11; 1 Cor. 15:28; John 3:16; 1 John 4:8; 1 Tim. 1:17; Ex. 34:6, 7; John 14:9.)
4. Son:
God the eternal Son became incarnate in Jesus Christ. Through Him all things were created, the character of God is revealed, the salvation of humanity is accomplished, and the world is judged. Forever truly God, He became also truly man, Jesus the Christ. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived and experienced temptation as a human being, but perfectly exemplified the righteousness and love of God. By His miracles He manifested God's power and was attested as God's promised Messiah. He suffered and died voluntarily on the cross for our sins and in our place, was raised from the dead, and ascended to minister in the heavenly sanctuary in our behalf. He will come again in glory for the final deliverance of His people and the restoration of all things. (John 1:1-3, 14; Col. 1:15-19; John 10:30; 14:9; Rom. 6:23; 2 Cor. 5:17-19; John 5:22; Luke 1:35; Phil. 2:5-11; Heb. 2:9-18; 1 Cor. 15:3, 4; Heb. 8:1, 2; John 14:1-3.)
5. Holy Spirit:
God the eternal Spirit was active with the Father and the Son in Creation, incarnation, and redemption. He inspired the writers of Scripture. He filled Christ's life with power. He draws and convicts human beings; and those who respond He renews and transforms into the image of God. Sent by the Father and the Son to be always with His children, He extends spiritual gifts to the church, empowers it to bear witness to Christ, and in harmony with the Scriptures leads it into all truth. (Gen. 1:1, 2; Luke 1:35; 4:18; Acts 10:38; 2 Peter 1:21; 2 Cor. 3:18; Eph. 4:11, 12; Acts 1:8; John 14:16-18, 26; 15:26, 27; 16:7-13.)

Before Jesus was born, God's people prayed directly to him. After Jesus came on the scene, a new arrangement was started. Now we pray to Jehovah through Jesus.
The trinity is anti-Bible. It goes directly against what the Bible says. For instance:
The Bible says at John 3:17 that God sent Jesus to earth. The trinity will have one thinking that it was God himself who came to earth.
Jesus said at John 17:3 that his Father is the ONLY true God. The trinity has people believing that Jesus and the holy spirit are also God.
At John 14:28, Jesus said his Father "is greater than I am." The trinity says that Jesus is equal to his Father.
At John 5:26, Jesus said that his Father gave him life. Trinitarians believe that Jesus is eternal.
At Luke 4:8, Jesus directed all worship to his Father. Trinity believers worship Jesus.
At Matt. 6:9, Jesus directed our prayer, not to him, but to his Father. Trinitarians pray to Jesus since they think he's God.
John 3:17 clearly shows that God sent Jesus to earth. Trinitarians believe it was actually God who came into the world.
As I said, the trinity is anti-Bible. It has deceived people for hundreds of years. Ask a trinitarian to show you ONE Bible verse that says God is made up of 3 co-equal, co-eternal persons. He/she will not be able to find it.

True Christians always pray to the One & Only True God, & that is the God of Israel, The God of Abraham, Isacc, & Jacob. But we go to God through what Jesus Christ did for our attonement for our sins.
