Perhaps not most, but certainly many of them. They're just as shallow as men really. Guys may like T&A, women like money and looks.

Feminists do not believe men should be "like in the movies". It is usually the women who are struggling with the "Cinderella Complex" that live in this sort of fantasy world. Also, there are some men who behave as though they actually are a character in the movies and then project these ideals/fantasies on to women.

Not the ones that I have associated with. The fantasy world would consist of raising families working full time at demanding jobs and updating their education credentials at the same time.
Doesn't sound like any fantasy that I have ever entertained.

That's an interesting question... it leads me to believe that you don't know very many women, and none of them are too decent.

Some people choose to live in versions of reality that they create, because it's easier than playing the hand they're dealt, so to speak. It's my experience that this is not singularly a female tendency, but human nature in general.

However, I safely steer clear of such people and enjoy my girl friends who are down to earth, and quite real. Perhaps you would benefit from meeting different types of people than you currently know.

Women and men are equally influenced by the media. In our culture, women are encouraged from a very young age by Disney movies and books to dream for that perfect knight in shining armor. Most of us, however, wake up from that as soon as we get our heart broken the first time.

What about you guys? You grew up listening to songs similar to Rick Springfield's "Jesse's Girl," The Beetles "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds," or John Michael Montgomery's "Sold." All hunting for that perfect 10. That woman with blond hair and blue eyes who will make other men jealous of you.

I'm not saying men are worse about it than women or vice versa. I'm just saying everyone is affected by the media.

I think it's only that women really want to believe in prince charming, love that lasts and happily ever after. We're brought up that way - to nurture and be loved. I hope it's not a fantasy!

and then i dumped their stupid ***

woman what men to be real...

we hate it when men show off, especially in front of their buddies...because that would mean that they are fake

Absolutely. There is much talk about feminism, but if you were to inject a truth serum into any woman's arm, you would find that she still believes - or wants to believe - in the fairy tale. As young girls, we were encouraged to dream about our Prince Charming, and throughout our lives we subconsciously compare every man we meet to the Prince of our dreams. Its a tough dream to hold, and a tough one to face for men.
