I am so disappoint in my friends. Everytime they get in my car they say Civic and Corolla are better just because they are Honda and Toyota, and Nissan is supposedly worse quality than those two. I don't believe it... what do you think?

my mum and dad split up when i was 11 i had no contact with my dad untill 4 years ago my kids dont know who he is and he never sends them birthday cards do you think i should just forget about him he dosent even ask how my kids are when i phone him im pissed of with him

I'm thinking of learning the violin so i really need to know. As I am a left-hander, there are some questions which I need to ask. Do I put the violin on the left side of my shoulder? How would left-handedness hamper my progress if my violin teacher is a right-hander? In addition, in terms of purchasing a violin, are there violins specially meant for left-handers? How long does it take to learn the violin for one to be able to play a proper classical tune? How many grades are there? Is it too late for a young adult like me to learn now?

Even though I dont really like kids, I get that they are loud and they play and scream and run around and all that. I cannot tolerate them playing in front of my bedroom window and waking me up several times a week.
Theres plenty of space to play outside, yet many mornings they climb up the little hill and stand on the small piece of flat land in front of my window. This morning they were dicussing how the 'wolf-man' sounds and all howling. They have done similar things before, and have knocked on the window.
I looked out the window and one kid yells to his mom that someone looked at him. She responded by telling him to get down before someone comes out and yells at him....why didnt she yell at him? in my neighborhood, all the apts have bedrooms in the front. and regardless, you dont allow your children to play a foot in front of someones window, my mama would never have allowed me to do that!
how do i handle this? i know people are defensive about their kids....

... which is exactly what they deserve> To be punished. Especially for the most obviously dangerous lower than animal scum which preys on the innocent repeatedly.

What is wrong with liberals that they don't care about victims and their families--and future victims! They only 'feel sorry' for the low life scum?!
Why do they not want to see people punished and get what they deserve for their crimes?

I live in a rural community, in a decent house and a stay at home Mom.We are barely getting by ourselves.We have chainsmoking neighbors, dad on disability, mom cares for my grandma during the day,& 3school age children, one of which is my own son's friend.They live in a very run down mobile home, with junk all around it.They do not have gas service, so no hot water and twice this winter had no water, due to frozen pipes.The parents used to send the kids over here for toilet paper, a tea bag, sugar, etc.and now it's snowballing.They recently asked to use my camera to take pics of their daughter in a bridal show.They send at least one kid, almost every Sunday night to take a bath and last Sunday when it was my own toddlers bedtime I was cleaning mud off my floor from their kid taking a bath, plus they don't even send fresh clothes for him to put on after.I feel bad for them, but how do I cut it off w/o them hating us?PS I also needed to have the daughter babysit an afternoon in May, eek!

I have a line of credit through Bank of America. I was told it was a personal loan and the balance would go down each month. (I had consolidated 3 credit cards). I just found out it is technically called a line of credit and the interest is 23%! I am going to be applying for a mortgage soon and I know it looks like "potential debt" and that looks negative. But, is it worse to have the account closed and still be paying it off, or to pay it off then close it?

I only needed a few sprigs, but the store only sells it in bunches, so now I have practically a whole bunch. I did put it in a plastic bag in my freezer, but my past experience has been that it will eventually get wilty. Maybe chopping it up first? Thanks to all who answer.
