I am driving down from Malaga and thought this area looked interesting. However I have not been to Portugal before and only have a few days to chill. I would appreciate it if anybody could tell me the following.
I would rather stay in a hostal than an impersonal hotel as I will be on my own. Is there one close by and are the elcectric points the same as Spain.
Is there a similar menu del dia to Spain and what would you recommend.
I believe there is a ferry, does it run at this time of year mid week,
What would you recommend I see and do. I don't want to drive far but don't mind a little.

How many people agree that breeding an animal is a good way to keep the population of all the many different breeds of dogs going? Or do you think private breeders are just adding to the number of dogs in rescues?
Some breeds of dog are now becoming very rare. Do you think this is because a particular breed is now not that popular, or is it because most people have their animal neutered?
I have 2 terriers, and they are both bought from private breeders. However i would never buy another puppy from a private breeder, i want to rescue from now on.

My wife and I will be in in Tokyo soon for 6 months , she will be on work assignment. Her office is in Shibuya. We were thinking of using Leopalace for 6 months, but I dont know much about it. Any opinions? Are there any other good options for gaijin short term apartments? We would perfer not stay in a guesthouse. We speak a little japanese, very basic stuff, so we will hopefully have someone from her work help us with this. We will be in a hotel for 16 days, so we have a little time to look for a place. the shadows are only in my peripgeral vision, its like they sneek up on me but when i look at them they run away. i cant explain what i feel in my head, like theres something inside my brain, an odd feeling. i'm not hearing voices though. i think im a bit depressed, are these other symtoms associated with depression? help!

I recently bought a new PC from bleeding Dell. Tried to connect to the internet yesterday (via broadband - as i always have done and can still do via my old PC) - My new PC runs bleeding Vista (which I hate) and refused to connect. First messages claimed that the modem wasnt connected - which it was, and then when i tried to start a new connection it asked for a IP password and user name. Can I not just plug in to the internet, connect to IE and surf? Is this Dell trying to force me to sign up to bleeding Tiscali which conveniently arrived installed. Along with a load of other junk I didnt want or ask for, and which has taken ages to uninstall . Hate Dell.
