It counts. I am ugly as homemade sin and have friends. Just be interesting and nice to people.

Being cool is just a label certain people will put on you if they like your personality and find you interesting. It is JUST a label. You are not dumb, no one is truely dumb (unless there is some sort of mental restraint in which case it's challanged not dumb). If someone is better than you in for example math, that might be because they have had more practice then you, or spent more time on it. Everyone is born with the exact same mental capability (considering they are mentally healthy) as any other newborn. It is the way that you develop and the things introduced to you as a child. A child might end up understanding two languages, but an adult can learn that language as well.

What's the point of putting yourself down?

Dumb people are valuable and useful members of society. If everyone was smart no one would dumb TV shows and movies and the entertainment industry would collapse. If everyone in the free world was smart enough to avoid military service, we would have been over run by communists and terrorists log ago. If Columbus had had had any sense he wouldn't have tried to sail to India from Spain. - I could go on.

Everyone is unique and nobody is inferior to anyone. Everyone has the equal amount of potential but that 'just' requires to be converted into talent. You're thinking that I'm sayin' it just like that and you might have heard this a million times before. But try to get the feel, I also realised this after a lot of experiences. It's just that somebody doesn't 'polish' his/her talent and it ain't visible to others. I'm sure that every individual is atleast 'very good' at doing five-six things in life.

The cool and smart people need someone to make fun of, so yes! Now if I only could get the cool and smart people to talk to me.

I'll tell ya what my mom told me when I was a teenager:

"There *is* no place for you in this world. You gotta *make* a place for yourself."

You will find or make a place for yourself. A sense of community is very important to ones happiness and self-esteem. Smart and cool don't really matter. Just be a decent person and be yourself.

whatever you do to move on and exceed in any measure is good.

It's not about being the brightest..but about knowing what turns your light on. What turns you on....meaning grabs your interest?

what gets your mind boggled?

what makes your mouth water?? NOT in a procreating manner.

I'm talking about building, taking apart cars,
cooking,
chemistry, stylizing, shopping etc. THERE is a major and job and there is a need for all ideas positive.

YOu are not dumb. You know how to type. know how to use the internet. you aren't dumb. the people around you just THINK they know something you don't.

No one is dumb.
All have hidden talents that need coming out.
You may not be like some who think they are smart and cool; but you are so. Or you will not ask this Q.
Wish you best,

Once you learn to accept and like the person you are without trying to be someone you are not you will have a place in society. Be yourself...that's alot smarter and cooler then trying to be the same as everyone else
