I am pro interracial relationships but most people seem to be interested for the wrong reasons. What's your reason?

My personal take is that I don't even see a color. I see a personality. What I like in a white guy or black guy or any guy will be bassed of him not his skin color. It ticks me that people still have problem with interracial dating. People are people. Skin and freakin bones that fell in some chocolote or some vanilla or w/e lol when certain people start realizing that, they can get back to me.

someone wanted me to add what i think are worng reasons. i think it's wrong to want to get into a interracial relation just because you heard the sex would be good or because you think one race of woman is more or less submissive than the next. Or because someone's eyes are prettier or het butt is bigger. I mean it's okay to be attracted to that sort of thing but it shouldn't be your main reson. Vain things that can't really be the basis of a real relationship. My opinion.

As a child of an interracial marriage, I strongly agree. I live in Hawaii and many people here are mixed, or hapa. The biggest reason I support it is, love who you want to. Who cares about their race? It's easier not to worry about finding someone who fits the mold, but finding someone who you truly love. But other than that, I believe it's important to share culture and backgrounds which come together in a interracial marriage. I'm japanese and white (a lot of mixed things) and I speak japanese, but I'm very interested in my white culture as well.
It's a modern world where people should fuse culture just to cultivate it into the next generation. Share, learn, and contribute to preserve history.
Another reason I think it's important is to decline the rate of racism still left in the world, and provide people with understanding of other cultures. There are too many close-minded people out there in the world, who think mixed kids are dirty, unpure, or less intelligent than pure kids. And I just have to disagree with that. It has NOTHING to do with my race!

You'll find that some so called studies will show that one of white women's top fantasies is to have a black man. You can sort of figure out the reason. Me personally ? I simply don't have a problem with skin color. You don't say what you think the wrong reasons are. I find that the people I know involved in a relationship like that have many reasons, or none at all.

Interracial relationships the place the female IS BLACK is mostly a huge deal. the reason being common prejudice....human beings have self assurance that it fairly is erroneous or irrational to love a Black lady. using fact they think of this way, some snide remark or look or judgment must be made. I ought to declare that I even have observed that comments ought to be made some lady's visual attraction in ANY article, so it is likewise portion of the better situation of EMPHASIS ON a girl'S visual attraction. I even have considered or heard comments on the visual attraction of lady heads of state, newshounds, scientists and athletes, yet interior the situations of those women, no remark mandatory to be made, stable or undesirable.

I date interracial all the time. there is nothing wrong with that. If i meet someone i don't care of their race, what matters is how that people treat you.

Simplicity. I become attracted to a woman by the things she says and does...if by chance she happens to be of a difference racial background, that's fine by me. That old idea about "jungle fever" is antiquated and passe'. This is 2007, nobody with any brains or life experience worries about that anymore!

my reason for being pro-interracial relationships???
i'm not pro- or anti-interracial...
we are all humans, and therefore we should all be able to find anybody and everybody attractive and have relationships, if that is what we need, without prejudice or hatred or bigotry...
technically we all started in the same place...

I was born and raised colour blind. People are people I date people i like and that i get along with. After all, if they are jerks, it doesn't matter what colour they are, they are just jerks. If they are really wonderful then they are wonderful no matter what colour they are.

i dont know your age, but i congratulate you on your opinions, you are very open minded...i dont see color in a relationship, i look deep inside a girl regardless of her "skin color",, that is where i find the beauty of a person,,, INSIDE...
