Thats a completely wrong idea. There are lots of Indians studying in University of Glasgow who are non-catholic.You need to meet the entry requirement of the University. You can get in touch with Global Reach, they represent University of Glasgow and they will be able to guide you the best. The website of Global Reach is www.globalreach.in .

I cannot find any indication that the University of Glasgow is associated to the Catholic Church. Scotland is only about 16% Catholic. Most Scots belong to the Church of Scotland (a Presbyterian church).

The University of Glasgow website states:

The University of Glasgow is committed to promoting equality in all its activities and aims to provide a work, learning, research and teaching environment free from discrimination and where difference is positively valued.

It seeks to establish an environment in which those who work or study at the University can achieve their full potential regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion or belief, ethnic origin, disability, age or educational background. http://www.gla.ac.uk:443/undergraduate/prospectus2007/important.html

The university also offers a list of places for worship in Glasgow within easy reach of the University: http://www.gla.ac.uk/publications/ish/religion.html

With love in Christ.
