I was diagnosed with dsylexia just after I finished uni.It is quite severe & I was told it was a miricle that I managed to finish a degree.

It took me longer than everyone I started with, as did college & sixth form,a total of 8 years & lots of getting kicked out for not doing assignments.

In high school I was in top stream 4 science,maths & everything apart from English,for which I was in the bottom group (the remidial group).

I even once told my english teacher I got my B's & D's mixed up & was told to right bed on my ruler to sort it!That was it.Was told I was intelligent but it was never diagnosed.

This educational problem still effects me today, work is still harder to get as I am older than people with the same education & this struggle cannot be seen on my CV.

As I think it has cost me at least 3 years in my carrer I do not see why I should not have some form of recompense.

Are there any known cases on this being done before?

was told in art class yesterday that paint brushes are made from animals tails (mink) and is freaking out. She refused to finish her painting (I support her conviction) I do recall hearing that boars hairs were used in brushes. Does anyone know about this? During the interview, if the employer asks for your desired salary range, is a 5k range an adequate spread? If not, is it too much or too little?

Also, say I use the 5k range and ask for 68-73k. When they contact me with the offer and say they will do 69k, is it UNACCEPTABLE to counter offer closer to the 73k end since their offer fell in the range I provided?????

I have decided I want to change my dentist because I feel my current one no longer does a good job!! I feel he doesn't listen to me, and I feel he does not spend as much time checking my teeth as he used to. Thus can anyone recommend from personal experience a good dentist in the North London area (Tottenham, Wood Green, Crouch End, Winchmore Hill, Enfield, Hornsey or Camden areas preferably). I will also consider areas in Central London too.

I have known this guy, sean, for about 7 yrs know. He's my best friend's brother. I can't tell if he likes me as a little sister, or more than that. I know he really cares about me, and would do anything to help me, but he also would do that for his little sister. I dont know what to make of this. He gives me hugs & stuff and tells me I'm one crazy kid, and he'll joke around with me and tries to act like he's smarter and knows more about everything. But I just dont know in which way he likes me.
