An elderly widow and widower were dating for about five years. The man finally decided to ask her to marry. She immediately said "yes". The next morning when he awoke, he couldn't remember what her answer was! "Was she happy? I think so, wait, no, she looked at me funny..." After about an hour of trying to remember to no avail he got on the telephone and gave her a call. Embarrassed, he admitted that he didn't remember her answer to the marriage proposal. "Oh", she said, "I'm so glad you called. I remembered saying 'yes' to someone, but I couldn't remember who it was."

I need some advice on a problem that I have. In 01 i had opened an acct w/ my friend (she was the primary, I was the co-signer) at a furniture place. Anyways we paid off the account and CLOSED it. I even checked my credit report to make sure it said "Account closed by consumers request" and it did. Well it's been a long time since I've spoken to my friend and now i am purchasing a house. But what got me was that when my credit got pulled , it said that I opened an acct in 04 (w/ the same furniture place) and not just that but that I had a late payment! I NEVER OPENED AN ACCT w/ that place. I contacted my old friend and she said she had opened a new acct and that she had no idea I was on there. So I contacted the furniture place and and they said they were going to do a complete investigation. I wrote a letter to their Fraud dept and now I am waiting. I want this taken care of ASAP.This girl is affecting my credit andI am in so much stress. What shouldI do?do I wait for them 2contact me

The doctor considered his question for a minute and then said, "I have an elderly friend who is a hunter and never misses a season. One day when he was going out in a bit of a hurry, he accidentally picked up his umbrella instead of his gun. When he got to the Creek, he saw a rabbit. He raised his umbrella and went, 'bang, bang' and the rabbit fell dead. What do you think of that?"

The 90-year-old said, "I'd say somebody else killed that rabbit."

I'm a natural kind of dark blonde, I died my hair light ash brown back in December and I wanted to dye it back to a medium blonde now. I do not want it to turn out red/blonde however. I was considering using L'oreal Preference medium ash blonde. Does anyone know if this owuld do it?

i shipped a comouter monitor from CA to TX through UPS and when i got it there was a whole in the side of the box.... the monitor is screwed up but we cant figure out how to get them to replace/pay for the monitor. they gave us some form to fill out but then they told us not to fill it out on the phone... then they said ok do it but the paper says we need documentation like something that says how much we bought it for but we got it from a friend for free.... do we have our friend write something thats says we paid $xxx to him for the monitor then just jive it to them? thanks!
