its not showing up right? i have the same problem =[ its really stupid.

... you can't get rid of them? Just go to the sports homepage:
http://sports.yahoo.com/

On the right hand side will be a box marked My Teams - to the right on that box it says Edit, just click on edit and you can choose to remove the White Sox as your team.
