what does this segment from the Ripley Scroll mean?

In the sea without lees
Standeth the bird of Hermes
Eating his wings variable
And maketh himself yet full stable
When all his feathers be from him gone
He standeth still here as a stone
Here is now both white and red
And all so the stone to quicken the dead
All and some without fable
Both hard and soft and malleable
Understand now well and right
And thank you God of this sight

The bird of Hermes is my name eating my wings to make me tame.

I think it may deal with awakening the dead, but I am not sure. What is its significance and what does it symbolize? (esp. the Bird of Hermes and the eating of its wings)

My dog has to stay on the lead as she misbehaves, and I would love to let her off.
She is a 5 year old staffy cross.
She often wont come back to me if she sees something else she wants to head for, and is sometimes aggressive to some other dogs (and a couple of times has been aggressive to people, though only twice in 4 years)
Any ideas on how I can solve this problem....have tried socialisation classes with no luck.

My flatmate has invited a local tramp to sleep in my room. I discovered this last night as I returned home from the pub - he was asleep in my bed.
After an uncomfortbale night on the couch, and finding that all my food had been eaten, I confronted my flatmate. He said that he 'thought it would be funny', but is now regretting it himself.
The tramp is currently having a bath. How do I ask him to leave without him hurting me? He has stary eyes.

it basically proves that global warming and climate change is a natural process and caused by solar activity.

It has fully convinced me!!!

And when it comes to co2 emissions the oceans give off more than anything else. Humans only contribute to a single digit percentage each year.

Darwinist followers believe that we humans came from apes or thinks we’re a distant cousin of apes. They’ll argue that there is only 1% gap between the human genes and monkeys, but that’s just what nature is; “The 1% difference!” It still does not make us one of them even if there was a sliver of difference. If humans coming from apes were true by evolution due to the survival of the species, then why are there still apes around? Why have they not changed? Dogs are said to have come from wolves and can be crossbred, it goes the same with a Zebra and a horse, a rat and a mouse, and as sick as it sounds, if we humans did come from apes, why don’t we just cross breed human with apes to find out once and for all? I honestly believe it’s not possible though because it is just proof that we’re not related to apes. What’s your opinion?
