I have spent hours submitting my website "www.dohertyplumbing.co.uk" to directories and sites yet im only listed on the second page of google. What else can i do to get within the top ranks of google page 1

How would you answer the question "I have spent three weeks replumbing my house and now nothing works properly and there are leaks everywhere - what should I do"?
You might say "What made you think you could do the work of a qualified professional plumber because that is what you need".
You too need to call in the professionals. You wouldn't trust the mailman to take out your appendix so why put your business at risk by trying to promote and market your own website.

try making a yahoo 360 website or a My-area website in basic terms on your website.
