Seeking: Does it move us away from our Selves, or closer to it?

Do you think that the search for more information moves us closer to ourselves (such as extended knowledge of biology or psychology providing a better understanding of the human, and physics providing a better understanding of our context),
or do we get too involved in the seeking itself and lose focus, moving further and further away from ourselves along the path?

What do YOU believe March weather is like in Tunisia?

Why has the introduction of the "Top Contributor" tag caused such a stink?

It's been interesting to see how horribly the idea has back-fired, but also a little scary to see just how seriously people seem to take it.

In Australia we are reputed to take a swipe at "tall poppies" as almost a matter of national pride, but it certainly isn't only Aussies who are indulging in TC bashing at the moment.

The way passions tend to run high on Y!A anyway, is it really productive to add another layer of false elitism to feed people's prejudices?

Councelling crap 2. guys and girls thinking?

Maybe this is guy and girl thinking...

If a girls car is broke she wants sympathy and a chat and someone to listen, give her a hug and somehow let her fix her own car or some crap like that.

Guys want a mechanic to fix their car so they can carry on driving, maybe pimp it up so goes faster.

Hence councilling aint all that much use in fixing the emotional probmes of say guys at least as does not follow the mechanically fix car principle.

Ie in earlier posts.

if girl cant pull and all lonley get sexy clothes, sexy dance moves, teach how boys think & how to chat them up, same for guys only get them to be more cocky bad boy that girls like & maybe guitar lessons. Maybe a fireman course and expertise in chocolate making

Or something like that.

Ie something useful.

That solves the problem.

Once & for all.

But how the hell do you fix things when over a decade behind most people? bit difficult to catch up.

You cant exactly implant all the mems

we just got a Mio broadband plan, aside from the ads on the net and papers i want to know if is there anyone?

in here who already got the mio plan. How is it? is it better than starhub? (ours will be activated on the last week of march)

What is "Microsoft Works"?

On my laptop I have Microsoft Works word processor, spreadsheet and other programs etc... what are they ? Are they an improvement to the traditional Word, Excel etc... ?
