It is coming up to my 6 year old sons 7th birthday and i was thinking of getting him a puppy. Is this a good idea? We also have 3 other children aged 3 and 6month old twins. Do yo think it is safe especially with the babies?

I live in Greece and my gynie says that I must have one or the other, I asked him if I could just have the test where they measure the baby's neck (don't know what it's called, it was invented by the Greek Doctor) and he advised me against it. He has also said it's better to have one of the other two tests so an abortion can be arranged if there is something wrong, I was horrified to hear this, is it the same in th UK? I'm British and very wary of the advice that I'm being given here.

I am making a 2-player educational quiz. When the user enters in the program, he enters his name, the name of the second player and which subjec they want their questions to be from. Here if they choose SCIENCE they have a collection of 10 questions to answer and points are awarded for the one which writes the good answer!

I have not had my regular menses last month. My menses were scheduled around 24th Feb, but I have not experienced them yet (10th March). Generally my menses extend by 6 days, but this time its more. I have checked for pregnancy twice using the one step pregnancy testing kit (HCG Kit). It has turned out to be negative.

What could be the other reason for such prolongation of menses? Please guide me.

My husband was in love with that girl before our marriage but I did not know that. Marriage with me was on the initiative and proposal of his parents and it appears he married me to please his parents. That woman also got married after our marriage. After producing two children her husband died. My husband has always been in close contact with that woman and the woman says to him that those are his children. My husband has been misbehavng in our marriage since its start. When I became pregnant he felt very upset and suggested abortion. I refused that my child is seven years old now. Every week-end he declares some lame excuse to attend some business meeting in the town in which his beloved widow and two children live. Most of times he just slips away to that town even without informing me and my child. He is always under financial pressure, and leave me and my child deprived from even ordinary pleasures of a family life. My child and me wish to stop this utter nonsence.

my real original hair is long with tight curls .. but i have been straightening/colouring/relaxing etc.. for like 8 years.. so my hair has been all dried up and it looks dead and frizzy .despite going for monthly hair treatments .. i never cut my hair short before but i only trimmed them . and my hair grows very very slow ...
i feel like shaving my hair so that i can get back my original curls but im so afraid it will not grow back..
any advice?

After reading the previous question I wanted to find something out. I typed in "incest in family" and the LBGT category was the top choice. How ignorant is Yahoo and the people who create these categories to offer that up as the best fit?

With the staff/designers behind the categories, no wonder the trolls get away with the hate and ignorance.

My friend tried asking this question but here goes...I have liked this guy for almost 3 years now. He was my best friend in 4th grade and he liked this other girl. In fifth grade we weren't friends...he figured out I liked him and said nothing...when we went on a 3 day field trip he met this girl in my class. 6th grade (now) that girl told him "do you like me and will you be my bf?" he said yes and now they are together. That girl was one of my best freinds and now she ditches us to hang out with him. I feel so mad and heartbroken. What should I do? ♥

well i've seen how theese kinds of questions can turn on here, but i'll ask anyway.... Lot is spared because he is considered a good man for sheltering the angels, but how can Lot be portrayed as just when he offers up his two daughters to be d at the hands of an angry mob?
I realize of course that later the daughters get their father drunk and themselves pregnant but I dont feel this in anyway detracts from my question. how can lot be portrayed as a hero, the only one worthy of being spared, when he would turn his daughters out like that?

My mum can send text messages to anyone else except my nan and my nan can recieve from anyone except my mum! and my nan can text my mum and she recieves them they can ring each other so what the hell is going on? my nans on o2 and mums on vodafone.
