wife wants controls of me from my daughter I have from a prior marriage i had in another state. wants to come with me without me telling my daughter and ex -wife she coming. My daughter is 7 y/o and i had to be at her last basketball game of the season. she wanted me not to go without her, but she changed her mind about going because i asked why I had to withold info about her coming with me. she get mad, I told her i wanted her to go, but she refused and then tell me I should go and be at my daughter's game. I went I asked her its okay 17 times. she its okay I get back. she said i disrespected by going to the game. she feel like she being played. she afraid of my ex-wife of us being together. I stay in the state for 14 hours. got there @ 9am and left @9:30 pm with my daughter which the last visit I had with her is 6 months ago. i spend more with her three kids I do mine own. what is thoughts on this. i ready call it quits on her.

I know you are supposed to summarize the information, but sometimes after I read it I don't really understand how I can summarize something that will be just as good as how I read it, so I usually quote the information, but I can't turn in a paper with quotes.. And even when I quote and briefly explain my point or why this information is useful, it just doesn't seem as powerful. What is the proper was to summarize to avoid plagiarism?

Human civilization has, more or less, evolved from tribal-state to city-state to nation-state over the last 10,000 years or so. It would seem that the next logical step is world-state. What new challenges would such a govenment face? What would be the benefits and drawbacks?

I am curious as to whether anyone here as studied this idea before, and if there are any philosophical or anthropological works available on the subject.

Actually I applied to 6 colleges and got in only Illinois Urbana-C and Gatech so far. I am sad and I don't know if I will get into UMich Ann-Arbor. I want to do Computer Science so I guess I have nothing to worry about but a part of me is artistic and creative and feels it will get suppressed at an overly tech college. Michigan is good at so many things.

I'm scared I won't get in there...
