After watching "world scariest police videos" and the smug policer officers saying "no one can hide from the police helicopter and thermal imagers!", but im sure there is a way of lowering your emissions with some sort of lining in your garments.

1) Set everything around you, or between you and the imager, on fire.

2) Get behind some ice. Perhaps you could make a suit out of ice. Or ice cream.... Yummmm, ice cream suit....

Mythbusters has addressed this question. They were unable to hide from the infrared camera even with substantial insulation.
